Thalassa Beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Platanias

The iced coffee was fantastic, but the food was a bit hit and miss. We thought the toast was off before identifying it was actually the butter portions. The bacon and eggs were good, particularly the bacon. The fruit salad was the bigger let down for me, especially what I think was supermarket seedless grapes. There are beautiful seeded grapes in abundance in Crete, so this was very disappointing as there was a distinct drop in the quality of flavour. A very dry piece of chocolate cake was also part of the english breakfast along with the eggs, bacon and toast. We followed the reviews but were very disappointed. Absolutely overpriced for what we did get. The portions were very small and there for the price was too high. For sure a tourist place. Locals wouldn't eat here. We were playing a card game with our son and they asked us to stop playing. We wouldn't recommend that place, you can definitely find better restaurants...
