Firstly, some of the unjustified negative reviews on here are no doubt posted by ignorant people who want luxury at rock bottom prices. They don't understand Greece. It is not perfect and sure, some things could be better, but it's Greece! That's the charm of the country and why we keep going back. Read on.........||||No sooner had we jumped off the ferry in Poros Port when the owner of Kaikas apartments, Nikos, appeared in his car to drive us there himself. He's a popular figure in Poros and you will meet him around and about. Very hospitable chap. Nothing was a problem for him. Any issues, just let him know and it will get sorted. Might take a bit longer - but it's Greece after all. We didn't have any issues to report.||He genuinely cares about his guests and worries if something is wrong.||||Free wi-fi was available, however a bit patchy sometimes. Nikos became aware of this and although it took a couple of days to sort out, it resumed without further breaks in service. That's Greece for you!||||The apartment we had was on the top floor and facing the water. Great views across the bay. The week we stayed was very hot and I would wake at 7 and sit on the spacious balcony while it was cool and read. Or stroll 5 minutes up the road to the supermarket and get supplies. They sell fantastic breakfast pastries! The heat at night was perfectly foiled by the air con units, which worked very well in both bedrooms. The kitchen was basic, but we didn't really use it apart from store food in the fridge. The bathroom was the only negative, being very small, though it all worked. Overall a large apartment with wrap around balcony. Nights are quiet with little noise outside and no screaming mopeds at 2 am.||||The pool is great and kept very clean. Maintained every morning. The garden is fantastic, hosting many large trees offering plenty of shade. I found a favourite spot to sit, under a large lemon or lime tree while our girls splashed around happily. Most of the time we were out exploring the island on mopeds and visiting beaches, but would return to the pool area in the early evenings for a sundowner. ||Nikos popped by occasionally to ensure everything was fine, which was comforting.||We met some nice, decent people in the garden who we are planning to visit in their home country as soon as we can. ||(By the way the mopeds we hired from Stelios opposite the supermarket. Lovely couple and for £8 a day for reliable bikes, you can't go wrong.)||||In conclusion then, comfortable and spacious accomodation with a very friendly and hospitable owner who will pick you up and drop you off at the port with your cases.||It has its own pool with plenty of shade, which you will need. Near the supermarket and in a quiet part of town for restful nights.||Nikos offered for my wife and girls to use the pool in their second week if they wished as they had booked another place for their second week unfortunately. They say that they now wish they hadn't!||We thought the price we paid in July was excellent value for money and would definitely stay here again if we visit Poros.||Ticked all the boxes!!||Thanks Nikos! See you soon.||||PS. There was a Scottish couple staying here while we were there who visit every summer for months at a time. They have been coming for many years. They sit in the garden most days reading in the shade. If that's not an endorsement, then I don't...

I can list the things happened to us, while staying in one of its 2-people room for two nights:
BONUS: A lady, that also works there, was impolite as well and treated us like we were thieves, since on our second day after we arrived at our room in the evening, she came to us and told us that she was looking for us the whole afternoon to give her the rest of the money for our accommodation, although nobody from the hotel reached out to us for instance by calling us on our phones the previous hours and there was no evidence that we left our room earlier than expected, because our luggage was still in our room.
In a nutshell, Kaikas Studios & Apartments came straight...
Read moreThese 'rooms' have to be the worst I have ever seen and stayed ever. Our room must have not gotten a remodeling since the it was build old bathroom that honestly it is disgusting no good cleaning, old beds with even older mattresses and pillows plat as a towel. First night it was awful people making noise in the middle of the night and slamming doors with no respect for the others. Honest I should splurge some extra money for something better. I can't imagine staying there for 10 days. There is a pool that might save the situation but even that is patched...
