We stayed at anchora with my family for a week. When we arrived there everything seemed fine but when we went at the rooms the first thing we noticed by going to the toilet was that it was completely nasty. The bathrooms were uncleaned, and there was also a dirty towel on the floor. When we asked about the manager of the place a guy holding a coffee would appear and yell at us for no reason at all, claiming he was the manager of the place but it turns out that he is actually renting both hotels, as was said by the owners wive. About the cleaning staff, it was all an old lady, struggling to get stuff done. No wonder the rooms werent in a good condition. The island it self was a beautiful place but staying in this hotel was an awful idea. At least it accepts pets. The TV would only have 2 channels, and also a lot of static. However about the places lights, i could say that the electricity was very unstable, since the lights were flickering a lot and sometimes the electricity would cut off.

I strongly recommend booking any other hotel for the time. Im not sure how the main hotel is, but just by staying at the anchora hotel which is managed by the same person, it might not be any...

We stayed at the hotel Pavlou almost three weeks. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very clean and has modern good sized bathrooms. The receptionist and staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach across the street from the hotel is very nice, clear calm waters and clean. The hotel has lounge chairs and umbrellas at the beach for free for their customers. |The Restaurant Neorio on the beach and at the hotel is great, we ate almost every meal there. The menu has a good variety of Greek dishes and fish. They also have ‘ special dinners’ daily just ask the waiters in the morning what they may be. My favorite was the roasted pork with lemon potatoes, another dish I enjoyed was the “Rocket Parmesan “ salad, with dried tomatoes, thin sliced parmasan, green salad and small tomatoes which is on the menu. |Our friendly waiter Hilias was great, he was very attentive and served us every meal with a smile.
