Thala...Sea Beach Bar-Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Poros

This place is so nice..super food, affordable prices and the nicest team of people…that’s before you even see the water and the view. It’s proper beach life with an incredible view of the mountains, calm blue sea that you can dip into, and a small team that care about their visitors. But the quality of the food is really superb, classic Greek cooking in a contemporary style, full of flavour. Funnily enough I was having lunch at a table on the afternoon that this drunken twonk who left a nasty review below (I’m looking at you William de Jager)…started creating a drunken scene and more-or-less attacked the staff in front of the entire restaurant. Despite me overhearing the three of them enjoying their food all afternoon and getting monstrously wasted, then going rogue on the people around him. The beach is ok, service is very attentive and kind (and I am only talking Dimitris, young guy serving guests) because the manager (as he likes to call himself), kept bothering me and my friend over and over, making me very uncomfortable, calling us beautiful over and over and italian top models and absolute perfection and the top of perfection and blablabla in front of everybody, talking very loud, acting sketchy, asked for our instagram/facebook/whatsapp and kept asking even when we told him we were off social media, then he put a QR code in front of our face and told us to give a review of 5 star with his name and waited standing next to us, watching that we did actually write it and post it. I absolutely do not reccomend young girls to go, at least if this kind attention makes you...

At first I was enraptured by the charisma of lead waiter Giorgio Armani who lured us in with the promise of a ‘super very nice meal’ and a friendly rub of the shoulders which I returned, fondly, with a pat of his belly… However, a ‘super very nice meal’ was far from the reality.

In reality, we were waiting for over two hours for our food, with the kitchen unable to give us any sense of when our food would be ready. When asking where our food was, my former friend, Giorgio Armani, lied to us, telling us he our food was ready when the kitchen hadn’t even started it.

2 stars for the nice waiter that gave us our drinks for free. And the beach set up was a nice and chill place to spend a few hours.

But the restaurant experience… was anything but...
