Kallixeni Villas — Hotel in Municipality of Rethymnon

This villa is even more incredible in person than in the photos.

The check in was a breeze and we loved how it is a gated complex with your own parking pad. It is a bit of a trek to get up there but luckily we had a rental car.

The place was very clean, and had all of the essentials in there.

The bathroom is very clean, and had a great shower. The lighting is a bit dim in the bathroom.

The bedroom was clean as well and had a very comfortable bed.

Now the best part. The patio and pool area was INCREDIBLE. The pool was great, we stayed in late summer and it was a good temperature with no heating. There are tons of chairs, umbrellas, and places to sit. The view is stunning while you are lounging in either the pool or hot tub. The only downside is that there seems to be rats that come at night and poop on the ground. A way to get rid of that (broom, hose, etc.) would have been great.

Overall it was incredible we will be trying to stay again...

Our stay at the Kallixeni villa was absolutely amazing! We had the pleasure of staying in both LAVENTER and AMARILLIS houses, and we couldn't have been happier. The privacy they offered, along with the stunning pool and whirlpool with an ocean view, was truly exceptional.

The location was perfect, just a short 15-minute drive to the charming old town of Rethymno, where we enjoyed exploring the beauty of the historic streets and architecture.

The entire experience was top-notch, and we can't recommend Kallixeni villa enough for anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Crete. We will definitely be returning!

Stayed here for a one week holiday from July 4th. Absolutely fabulous villa with all ample amenities and luxury touches to make our stay truly memorable. The villa was very clean and regularly serviced. The pool was fab and we used it daily. Host was especially attentive and any question we asked was responded to quickly. The villa is in a superb location with breath taking views and just a short walk from some lovely tavernas. I would highly recommend this place for a holiday and we will definitely...
