This place is amazing! We happened on it by chance tonight whilst exploring and I’m so glad we did. The food was fantastic, everything we ordered was delicious, authentically Greek and cooked perfectly. It’s a laid back atmosphere and the service isn’t rushed, the ambience of the place is romantic with interesting nooks and crannies which lead to an amphitheatre at the back. The portions are humongous and well worth every penny. The village itself is worth a walk around, Cretan street art, old ruined buildings interspersed with newer houses, quirky little prayer boxes/shrines at the side of the road and beautiful churches. Kudos to the patient service and of course to the kitchen. There is only one tiny minus point, because when we were at the bar and ordered 3 cocktails, they were all prepared in one shaker. Read moreAfter having a wonderful meal last year , we decided to go again, only to be let down with a few things. I ate my main meal alone, as my partners was taken back, to be replaced. Yes we were offered an extra wine as a jesters of sorry , but we don’t drink volumes, so they gave us a free desert, very nice.
