Elmyra Villa — Hotel in Municipality of Rethymnon

We were very impressed with the villa. We have never gone to a villa with such an extensive care package! Fruits, breads, olives, yogurts, feta, oil and more! The pool was big enough for all 4 adults and 3 children to swim and play comfortably and the pool table was such a treat in the evenings. The local restaurants are lovely. There is a local shop, bakery, butcher and chemist amongst other things. Although we had a car to travel to the beach and to the local town, it isn’t essential as everything you need is walking distance. The nearest beach and cove is beautiful. Clear waters which were perfect for snorkelling. The bar and restaurant by the beach is probably the high light of the area for us as there was an enclosed playground which the children could play in whilst we had a drink by the bar and moved on to the restaurant, they were always in our line of view. Valia was super helpful throughout our stay as well as the owner. We accidentally left some clothing behind and the owner even posted them back to us. The perfect location for your vacation in Crete! Valia and her team are amazing! The villa is an amazing place to stay to just enjoy the peace and tranquility, or come back to from a busy day of taking in the sights and activities that Crete has to offer. Our group of 8, were there to celebrate our parent’s 50th wedding anniversary, and took advantage of the chef that Valia works with. They organized a beautiful and delicious dinner that we will never forget. It was the perfect ending to a truly unforgettable stay. Valia made organizing our stay a breeze by being super responsive and always being on top of any questions about things to do in and around the area. There are cute and great places nearby to get groceries, or cafe/bakeries to get delicious treats, and even a great restaurant that delivers to the villa!
