Pension Annoula — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

It is not easy to find the hotel. We went down the bus hoping to see the hotel, but the streets have no names written anywhere and the hotel is not on the main road. With the help of a nice cashier at the super market we contacted the owner, Niko, that came to pick us up from the bus station.||The hotel is not far from the station, but if you don't know how to get there- you won't get there. The location of Archangelos is great, because it is not touristic and there are many local and cheap places to drink and eat nearby, and with a short ride on the bus or with a car- you can get anywhere you want on the east coast (1 hour ride to Rhodos Town in the north or Gennadi in the south)..||Niko was very nice, he speaks German very well, English not so much, but enough to communicate. The rooms are clean, but the shower is extremely small, and the pipeline is not so great so you'll have to throw the toilet paper in the trash before flushing. The room is being cleaned every second day, and the towels and sheets were not replaced at all in the 5 days we stayed there.||The price includes a small breakfast of hard boiled egg, bread, cheese and salami, hot and cold drinks, and some butter and jam.||Not a fancy place, but good for couples with low budget. Die Pension liegt ca. 3 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Dort sind div.Restaurants vorhanden. Supermärkte bzw. ein Obst/Gemüseladen ebenfalls nicht weit entfernt. Der Weg zur Pension ist ausgeschildert, man sollte nur nicht „maps“ folgen, da der Zugang in einer anderen Straße liegt. Privater Parkplatz ist nur für Zweiräder im Hof vorhanden. Der Eingang erfolgt über eine Brücke. Pensionswirt „Niko“ spricht deutsch, ist sehr freundlich und hilft in allen Angelegenheiten. Die Zimmer sind frisch renoviert, einziger Minuspunkt: zu kleines Doppelbett( in Raum 4, nur 1,20m breit).Dusche und WC sind in einem Raum, Waschbecken separat. Kleiderschrank und weiterer Stauraum mehr als ausreichend.Klimaanlage ist neu und leise.Ein Kühlschrank ist auch im Zimmer. Kleine Terrasse mit Tisch und 2 Stühlen sind vorhanden. Ottima pensione in centro ad Archangelos. La gestione affidata a Nikola e sua moglie è qualcosa di fuori dal comune. La gentilezza e la disponibilità sono eccezionali. La sera del nostro arrivo (intorno alle 21) Nikola ci ha addirittura "scortato" a cena. Il rapporto "familiare" che si viene a creare con gli ospiti fa trascorrere la vacanza con grande rilassatezza.|Le camere sono dotate di arredamento semplice ma con tutto il necessario.|Ottima la colazione servita nel patio della struttura con prodotti freschi e tipici del posto. Non dispone di un parcheggio proprio, ma in un modo o in un altro siamo sempre riusciti a trovarlo nelle vicinanze.|Ottima la location perché situata nella zona dove ci sono le spiagge più belle dell'isola e consente anche di avere molte opportunità per la cena(dalla tranquillità al posto caotico).||Grazie...
