Niovi — Hotel in Municipality of Serifos

Here we did not find the true kindness and attention to the client that we've always found in all Greek islands. ||The room with balcony and sea view costs 140 euro per night (even more if you do not book directly with Niovi), thus it is overpriced considered the medium prices of the island, the room and the quality of the service offered. ||Bathroom is small and not comfortable, furniture is old, bed not comfortable, clean service is not daily but upon request (of course you can have it daily but expressly asking is not the same as having it automatically). There is a bad smell of sewer almost always. Shower gels are re-filled. Breakfast is ok and some products are really good, but who should take care of it is quite distracted. Tables are not cleaned timely and you often have to ask for refill of orange juice, milk etc. There is no reception and no presence of the owner at due times (except for breakfast) so if you need something you have to call. No spontaneous recommendations on where to go, how is it going.||Coming to the positive side, the view from the room is amazing (we had the n. 5) and the room is clean. ||Last but not least, no receipt/invoice has been provided to us by the owner for the amount paid for the whole stay...

Ein einfaches Hotel, eigentlich schön gemacht, jedoch die Zufahrt bis dorthin gestaltet sich mehr als abenteuerlich, es handelt sich um eine Schotter-Stein-Beton-Piste, die ich mit meinem eigenen PKW nie und nimmer befahren würde. ||Der Mietwagen machte es möglich und hat es überlebt... Das Niovi hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht vom Zimmer aus auf die komplette Bucht von Livadi. Das Frühstück ist eher mäßig. Der Kaffee war so stark, dass wir ihn mit viel Wasser und Milch "verdünnt" haben, um dem Herzinfarkt vorzubeugen. Die Mitarbeiterin im Frühstücksraum hat uns bedient (im Jogginganzug) und anschließend am Nebentisch eine geraucht und auf dem Handy getippt - für uns ein absolutes NO GO! Am 3. Tag haben wir uns Käse gekauft, da wir die selbstgemachte Marmelade schon satt hatten. Gut war der frisch gepresste Orangensaft, das muss man sagen. Jedoch ließ die Sauberkeit der Gläser zu wünschen übrig, schade eigentlich! Das muss eigentlich nicht sein. Die Hotelchefin war nicht anwesend, da sie wegen des Fährstreiks in Athen festsaß, wir können nicht beurteilen, ob es anders abläuft, wenn sie da ist. Das Zimmer war ok, leider mussten wir uns um alles selbst kümmern, wie funktioniert der Fernseher, wie ist das Wifi-Passwort, es wurde uns nichts erklärt bei der Ankunft. Vielleicht läuft das wie gesagt anders, wenn die Chefin da ist, die besser englisch spricht, wir haben sie nur kurz am Abreisetag kennengelernt.||In der Familientaverne Stamatis haben wir öfters gegessen, sehr empfehlenswert. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und nett, auch der Chef, Theodoros fragt immer nach, ob alles ok ist. Wir haben uns sehr nett mit ihm unterhalten und griechisch gelernt. Hat Spaß gemacht! ||Alles in allem von der Lage her sehr empfehlenswert, beim Frühstück und der Mitarbeiterin unbedingt ausbau- und verbesserungsfähig und es sollten die Gäste informiert werden bei der Ankunft.||Das Zimmer war schön, wir haben die Aussicht absolut genossen.||Serifos an sich ist sehr überschaubar, man sollte nicht zu lange dort verweilen, denn es gibt nicht so vieles zu unternehmen. Chora ist sehr schön, dann gibt es noch ein paar kleinere Orte, wenn man jedoch nicht ausschließlich Badeurlaub macht, sind die Tage...
