Even though my stay of 16 nights has not ended I felt I have experienced enough of the Mosha Pension to give my perspective. This being my first time to Sifnos I chose Kamares to be close to the sea and have good access to other villages. The Mosha Pension is a basic hotel that gives customer service worthy of a 4 star hotel. My room looked over the pool, had a small veranda with a table, chair and a place to hang wet things to dry. The room was perfect for one person, had a desk a small t.v, fridge, a/c and french doors to open onto the cool Agean Sea breezes. There is a small pool of about 10 meters which felt great after a day on the beach or when the it was too windy down at the beach. The beach is a 3 minute walk away, the village and places to eat are a 5 minute walk away. There is also a close trail that in total is about 1.5k there and back from the hotel. Mosha Pension is run by a family that were friendly and helpful to me with whatever question I asked. The breakfast cost 5 Euros and is complete with fresh Greek yogurt, honey, jams, breads, cheeses, eggs, ham, cereals, fruit and on Sunday Maria, Mosha's Mother makes the famous Sifnos Chick pea soup. Breakfast is served late, starting at 8:30-12, and once I learned this asked if there was anyway I could just have tea earlier. The next thing I knew Maria, brought me a hot water kettle, a tea cup and tea bags to get me through the first morning! The grounds of the pension are shared with Nymphes and have many plants of basil and rosemary. The pool area has lounges, chairs and tables with umbrellas which is great. My room was kept spotless every day by two young Nigerian/Greek women. There were many families there during the time I was there and they all enjoyed the pool area and the proximity to the beach and places to eat. It is a great place to stay for a single person and the cost is...
Read moreWe had a wonderful time in Pension Mosha! It is a small pension right next to Hotel Nymfes and together with it, it offers you all the facilities you need for a pleasent relaxing holiday. Mosha and her family indulge you, with a warm free transport from the port, a warm welcom, a delicious breakfast, advice and information with a big smile, ... . And all that for a affordable price. Our room on the groundfloor was basic, but well cared of, with a balcony overlooking the swimmingpool. ||The hotel is situated in Agia Marina. For us a perfect location, quiet but just a few minutes walk from the cosy but busier Kamares. In Agia Marina itself you will find a beachbar and a very good restaurant where you can enjoy the sea and the view to the port of Kamares on the other side of the bay. Kamares has a lot of taverns, restaurants and shops, very lively and pleasent to walk through, but when the ferries arrive, also very busy. In Kamares you will find the busstops to Apollonia and Artemonas and from there to other places like Kastro, Vathi, Platis Gialos, Cherronisos. Places you should visit, either by bus or on foot. When we planned our trip to Sifnos, we hesitated about staying in Apollonia/Artemonas or in Kamares/Agia Marina. Now we are glad we decided to stay in Agia Marina, close to the sea, relaxing and yet with a good acces to other places using the bus. ||We would recommend the Cyclades, Sifnos and Pension Mosha to everyone who loves Greece or who is eager to...
Read moreI stayed with my 2 daughters july 11-16 and the whole experience was great! It is a family run place and everyone is wonderful. George picked us up within minutes of arriving at port, and we were made to feel at home from his sister at reception. The mom is around helping out and making everyone feel part of the family. The staff of victoria and maria keep the rooms neat and tidy everyday, and also help the family with breakfast. We had one of the family suites and it was amazing. Clean, tidy, roomy and filled with original pottery. Shower had good pressure, everything was in working order and wifi had strong signal. Location is very close to kamares beach 2 min walk and 10 min walk to the main road where there is an abundance of eateries, restaurants mini market and lots of dessert places. Mosha pension is great because its close to everything yet just far enough away that you don't have to be close to the ferry traffic. The morning breakfast offers a wide variety of items which includes rice pudding that the mom makes which...
