My daughter and I enjoyed everything about this wonderful Greek restaurant! We were welcomed warmly by Andoni, we sat in the comfortable coloured chairs in a courtyard garden with the sun setting down the garden path towards the beach. I loved the colourful napkins and lovely crockery. The wait staff were very professional and attentive. The wine was delicious and we had the rabbit, chickpea hotpot and a fantastic salad with seasonal fruit finishing up with the best panna cotta ever! When we were to pay we were offered a home made liqueur made with rose geranium. This was extraordinary!! We came back a second time and we were again eating amazing food. This is probably one of the best restaurants in Greece in my opinion. Thank you Andoni for being a great host and making us feel so welcome. It was lovely...
Read moreSimply exceptional!! Chef himself came to our table to take our order and explained the dishes to us. They have their own farm they use in the ingredients. The spicy olives are to die for!! Omg, I wish they offered them vacuum packed to-go (Side note: I bought "spicy" olives in Athens, and they are NOT like the olives served here). The "Special Greek Salad" has their spicy olives, the olive oil is made from their spicy olives, and they add their freshly grown arugula, so it had quite a "kick" of excellent flavor. I tried to make it returning to the States, but without those Sifnos olives, it just didn't measure up. The service, the food, and the sunset down the path to the beach made this a wonderful visit I will remember forever in my lifetime. And... they serve filtered rainwater! Thank you, Chef, and staff...
Read moreCame here with great expectations wanting an authentic Sifnos cuisine dinner, but we were so disappointed. The restaurant is in the middle of the Hotel Boulis and the ambience was off putting from the moment we sat down at our table. We were facing hotel rooms and bathroom windows where we could hear people showering and kids screaming. Although on the beach there are no Seaviews in any of the seating in the restaurant. We ordered Boiled fresh "radikia" and Chickpea soup for starters. For mains we ordered the moussaka and the mastello. The chickpea soup was excellent and the best meal of the night. Unfortunately, everything else was suboptimal. Service was slow inattentive and prices were a lot more expensive than other restaurants in Sifnos. Seriously give this place a miss and try others in...
