ZETINE SUITES SIKINOS — Hotel in Municipality of Sikinos

Most people come to Sikinos for a few days . As I was travelling solo I decided to stay for longer to totally relax on this quiet laid back island . I couldn’t have chosen a better accommodation option than Zetine Suites . I was met at the port on arrival by the owner Fotis who then looked after me so well during my stay along with Happy . Fotis helped me to organise an hire car , advised on beaches and where to eat and what to see . I spent an heavenly 7 days in this beautiful comfortable suite with a view of the port and bay where I would swim and sit at Marconi for coffee and delicious snacks . |I had a lovely breakfast each day on my balcony , a slight recommendation would be to offer some sweet options for breakfast or local pies/ pastry instead of the same options each day . This wouldn’t be needed as much if staying only for a few days but with 7 days some variety at breakfast would have been nice . |Zetine is located high up so is quite a climb up if no care but the walk down to the port was easy . Again if you want to visit most of the island a car or scooter is recommended . The bed was super comfy , there are some lovely unique touches in the suites . I was provided with lots of bottled water and used the coffee machine quite a bit . There where no beach towels provided and I was told I could buy one by Happy , lucky I had brought one thin towel , maybe a bag and beach towel would would be a nice addition . |Happy kept the suite lovely and clean along with my dipping pool .|I would like to mention the wonderful customer service , I was allowed a late check out as my ferry was cancelled and I had to catch a later one at nearly midnight so the late check out was really appreciated , thank you so much . The location couldn’t have been more perfect – just minutes away from Alopronia, the charming port town, with breathtaking views of the sea and the village below. The private terrace, complete with a jacuzzi bath, became our favourite spot to soak in the tranquillity of the island.
