Ermioni Hotel Kalamitsi — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

The hotel is situated on the main road directly on the left as you're coming south on the west side of the Sithonia as you enter Kalamitsi. It is less than 5min walk from the beach and the walk is pleasant and safe, not too much car traffic. Even though on the main road, the hotel is pretty quiet. It is equipped with air condition, balcony with table and 2-3 chairs. The linen is very clean, comfy beds and pillows, small and big towel provided per person, small fridge, vanity with mirror, wardrobe. The staff is friendly but only the son's owner speaks better English. Breakfast if included or not in your stay is between 8.30-10am and it consists of filtered coffee, tea, cheeses, bread, cold cuts, boiled eggs and I believe I also saw French toast. The cost of breakfast is 5 euros per person and its buffet style. Overall the hotel is very neat and clean and good value for the price. |On the downside, I did not appreciate that my credit card was charged for the full amount 10 days prior to my arrival although on my reservation it clearly states (I have it saved) that the credit card is only for reservation purposes and only a small amount may be authorized a few days prior to arrival. Nowhere did it state they reserve the right to charge the full amount. I was told that due to the busy season they have done that but that was not on the policy from my booking. According to my reservation I could have cancelled up to two days before arrival against 45 euros cancelation cost. Further, I had wanted to pay cash as I was sharing with a friend, instead now the full amount hanging on my credit card and my friend gave me cash...

Very friendly family run hotel, good size room, clean and cleaned every day, reasonably comfortable bed, some cupboard space for your stuff. The rooms and the bathrooms are a little dated and the price can be cheaper for what it is For a comfortable nights sleep after a long day on the beach its okay. Nice little balcony with table and chairs. The beach is no more than a 5 minute walk. Some reviewers complain about the noise of the road, just ignore them, I'm a light sleeper and did not have problem at all with road noise, even with the windows open on some nights. yes there is a main road, not a motorway, and in the night its barley any traffic. In addition to my comments, I'd like to mention that there was a fire in the garden on our first day, most likely somebody threw a cigarette in to the very dry under grow. It seemed like its will be out of control but thankfully, I put my hands together for my fellow hotel guests and the owners we managed to control it until the fire brigade arrived and no damage has been made to the...

It is clean and decent hotel next to motorway. Rooms are spacious including bathroom bigger then standard in Greace. ||To get to the beach you cross the road and go down to the beach, approx. 5 min of walk. Way back is a bit more difficult because you have steep street to get up to the motorway.||Even it is next to road, it is not that busy and you can have a good night sleep. ||Hotel has its own parking space with covers.||Room has no TV which I found strange, never had that situation before.||Breakfast is good enough, fresh.||Staff speaks very basic English so don‚t expect advanced communication.
