House Stella — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

Me and my Family definitely do not recommend that place! We were very close to ruin our Holiday, because of arrogant behavior of the owners. We had booked room around the end of march. Three adults with small dog 5kg. Yorkey breed. The owner knows very well about that and he doesn't had mind. Even he charges us 50€more for that. First was that he asked me for money even before we take out luggage from the car. We are taking our Holidays in Greece for more than 10years and this was a really first time happened. Ok, no problem. It was in the quiet hours and we left straight to the beach. We came back around 7:00 PM. The dog was barking from time to time when she see somebody. She was nervous, we had travel for 5 hours and it is a new place. The owner came and ask me to manage the dog because there are complains or he will ask me to leave. I haven't seen anybody to complain, because we were right next to the owner's apartment, but that is not important. The important things is that it was not in the hours for been quiet-repeat 7:00PM. I can't imagine if it was a kid. I can't tape the mouth of dog or a kid. So we left. He gave me back money, but he took 50€, just because our luggage were stay for a few hours. I hope he just needed the money ! He doesn't even hesitate, that there are a problem with AC. I will share a story, I saw in net, for the dog stays in hotels. It is not mine, but it is for that case:

HOTEL MANAGER'S REPLY TO THE MAN WHO WANTED TO BRING HIS DOG TO THE HOTEL...

The man who will be staying at the hotel is worried that he will not be able to bring his dog to the hotel... He wants to take his dog with him, but he is afraid that the hotel management will not allow it.

Just before booking a hotel room, the man sends an email asking if he can bring his dog to the hotel...

Here is the message he writes: "- Dear Hotel Manager, My dog ​​is my best friend and has been by my side for years. I want to stay at your hotel and it would be great if I could bring my dog ​​with me...

The hotel manager replies: "- I have been managing this hotel for years. I have never seen a dog steal a towel, a sheet or a painting. I have never had to deal with a dog that came to the hotel drunk in the middle of the night. Again, I have never seen a dog run away from the hotel without paying.

Of course, your dog can stay at our hotel. If your dog agrees, you...

We got a different room than the one that was agreed. And we had booked it many months in advance! We were a family with young kids, we asked specifically for a room without a bunker bed. On top of this, we were placed on the second floor, instead of the lower floor which is more convenient for families.

The balconies do not offer any privacy as there are no proper separators. The bathroom and kitchen were aged, and the sink was leaking.

Like the above were not enough already, the owner acted very unprofessionally, with very aggressive behaviour, asked us that we left the room due to our kids playing at the balcony and making noise (at 6 pm!).. What was even more disturbing is that he was threatening us! As you can imagine, we immediately accepted to leave and found a place to continue our holiday at beautiful Halkidiki somewhere else.

I would definitely not recommend this accommodation. Especially to families, save yourselves some energy and look somewhere else!
