Hotel Ammos — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

We had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is only 30 meters from the beach, so it was super easy to pop down for a swim or just relax by the water whenever we felt like it. The beach just behind the hotel is quiet and clean with an amazing beach bar.

What we really appreciated was the peaceful atmosphere. It’s away from the hustle and bustle, so it felt really relaxing, but still just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and cafés. You get the calm without being isolated.

The park in front of the house offers a lots of parking space any time of day.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a little balcony where we enjoyed coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings. Nothing fancy, just simple and cozy—which was exactly what we were looking for.

A big thank you to Mrs. Angeliki, the lovely host. She’s so kind and welcoming, and really made us feel at home. You can tell she cares about her guests and the place.

First of all, this review is about Hotel Ammos in Sarti, Sithonia, Halkidiki. Not all the reviews are about this hotel - there is a confusion.||||We spent 6 nights in september 2014 (2 adults + 1 child 7 yrs).||||Good stuff:||- The beach is sandy, water is ok for children (smooth entry) and just 20m from the hotel.||- The hotel is located in a quiet area where nothing happens (therefore no noise, very relaxing) - good if you have kids ofcourse||- Spotless clean||- Sarti old town aprox 20mins walk. Sarti is actually a village with some tavernas (be aware tavernas by the beach are more expensive and have worse food), shops, minimarket||- There is a minimarket at the back of the hotel - very good to buy water, beer, fruits, etc||||Average stuff:||- Very small bathroom||- No seaview rooms (we stayed in a room overlooking the park, ground floor = good because it's not very hot)||||So... clean hotel, nice beach, old greek village - if you pay more than 50 eur / night you will...

Spotlessly clean and owners are very nice and always trying to help.|Inside there is what a normal room should have and nothing more. Air conditioning and some tv channels are available too. But you go ina holiday not to stay in the room after all. |The bathroom is a bit small with a shower place but no cabin so it does get wet. ||One of the main reasons for rebooking again after 3 years is the price which is below average and the impecable cleaning. Once every 3 days with perfectly white sheets and towels. |The kitchen is ok equipped but some hobs are quite small and inefficient. The plates and cutlery are top class though not like you find in other places. ||Rooms are a good size and location is generally very quiet.
