Read moreSantorini is an island shaped by a volcanic eruption, made for romance, shopping and completely relaxing.
Vaggelias and family own and operate this peaceful villas. Agia Irini is located on the East side of Santorini sitting on a small cliff. When you arrive Vaggelias gives you a ten minute overview of the island and points out everything you want to do on the map.
You will not find a more peaceful, private and clean place to stay in Santorini for the price. I highly recommend you keep at least one day open just to lay back, relax and explore.
Everything is five to ten minutes away. There aren’t as many beaches on Santorini but the views are breathtaking. This is a place to take your time and recharge. There’s no pressure to do anything.
The pool is large and is cared for twice a day. The best beach is Kamari beach (10 min by ATV) and the best shopping is in Oia (15 min by ATV). Don’t forget to take a catamaran cruise during the day to learn about the volcano that created this peaceful island.
Vaggelias has three drivers at the ready to shuttle you wherever you want to go. All of them are friendly and helpful. We had deep conversations with Milan and loved his perspective on living a life of peace and harmony.
Save your money and avoid the hotels in Fira or Oia. For the price, you get all that you need. We loved our time here and would highly suggest staying here if you plan to stay in Santorini.
Thank you Vaggelias for being an A-MAZE-ING host and teacher of the Greek...
Read moreWe had experience of a life time, and a good memory we will never forget. After 20 days of touring Europe, we arrived to Agia Irini hotel, and my wife was already sick. She could not stay out more than 2-3 hours at a time. So we needed a hotel near town so she can go back and forth to hotel 3-4 times during the day to rest. Agia Irini hotel despite being romantic and peaceful, was unfortunately distanced from all places and need to call taxi each time. Once Mr. Vaggelis the owner/manager realized our situation, not only he refunded us 100% on spot (full refund cancellation was passed few weeks ago) but he got on the phone with US Expedia for 45 min to make sure they will not charge us. On top of it, he even recommended us a nice hotel in town so we can walk to places and my wife can rest in the hotel. To make it short, I am 69 years old and both my wife and I are professional and travelled all over the World for 40 years and never ever seen any thing like this. Mr. Vaggelis is truly caring and wonderful person that make you feel at home when you stay...
