Leon Villa — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

We were due to stay at Villa Leon for our wedding. We had to cancel our 2021 wedding due to Covid and move to 2022.||Villa Leon was run by Theodora who confirmed the booking and took our deposit. Theodora has since left and Antreas has taken on reservations manager.||I contacted to make sure everything was okay and Antreas has informed me “there is a problem, the owner wants more money so we have to cancel”. ||I explained we had a booking and have paid a deposit and he said “you have the price from 2020 not 2022. In my understanding when you book a holiday/villa/lodge/tent you book it at the price at that time and that’s that. ||If you want a true honest villa DO NOT use Villa Leon. The team are a fraud, they’ve taken money from me for a service they can’t provide because they’ve chosen greed. We are due to marry in less than 4 months and now we don’t have a place to stay. Holidaying with a friend. We Arrived to a very warm welcome. Our hose Eleni is so helpful. She will answer any question I have via WhatsApp, so useful. So far we have visited two amazing restaurants she has recommended! The villa is lovely, very clean and great bathroom with his and hers units! The bath is enormous and plenty of hot water for us both to have baths one after the other. We have a balcony with a great view & overlooking the sea. It’s so peaceful here. Breakfast is included, not dinner but Eleni is happy to call for a take away if you want one! We have access to the lounge and outside areas which are nice.
