Michelangelo Beach Villa — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

Stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect!

Pros: smooth check-in with Olga who was easily reachable, affordable & a 5 min drive from Oia, very clean with all necessary amenities, cute little jacuzzi facing the ocean. The decor in the house was simple & perfect for a seaside residence. Fast wifi & nice water pressure in the bathroom.

We loved the personal add ons like coffee/tea, bread, yogurt etc. Service was amazing.

Cons: if you're a very light sleeper, the apt bedrooms are facing the roadside so you might need a pair of ear plugs. There isn't much traffic late late night which is good.

The apartment looks nice, but there is a huge disadvantage: the breakfasts. We spent 10 days in the villa and we got the same things every day (not meals, just products to make breakfasts on my own). There were no vegetables, no local products, no fresh bread (only packaged toast). And we didn't get breakfast at all for 3 days! We asked for refund for the days we didn't receive beakfasts, but our request was ignored. If I had known this would be like that, I would have chosen a different...

This place was amazing! The beds are incredibly comfortable as was the couch, we got complimentary wine and cake and they were so good. the beds really were some of the best I’ve ever slept on. You can see the sunset/sunrise from the front porch, lovely setting especially in the spa. The water pressure in the shower isn’t the best but it didn’t take anything away from the place. 5min drive to Oia, you get a cellphone so you can easily contact Olga the host or...
