Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso — Hotel in Municipality of Vari - Voula - Vouliagmeni

I am staying at the hotel for 3 nights and this is what I experienced just after the first night. The windows in the hotel are loud. You can hear the cars on the big street driving by especially the ones that are racing at night. breakfast was just ok. Wide selection of milks,yoghurts, sweets, fruits, cheese, bread, etc , but the eggs tasted terrible Service during breakfast was very unfriendly. We asked for a taller glas of water and the waiter was very annoyed by that. When we tried to order some more coffee they didn’t come to our table to take an order. We had to stop them when they were walking by the table. It felt like we were asking them for a favor rather than them doing their jobs. Currently the gym is being renovated. Gladly we could experience the gym for one evening and it was outstanding. Better than some commercial gyms. (And it’s free). Today they put 5 different machines (3 being cardio 2 being strength) in the area were the free pool and sauna are. The air there is very moist and definitely not suitable for working out. Now going to the sauna/pool is not relaxing any more due to the fact that people are there working out. The hotels solution to the renovation of the gym hinders both gym users and wellness users. They didn’t even offer us compensation in form of going to a proper gym with a day pass or going to the big pool for free. The bathrooms are spacious but the toilet lid is very hard to sit on. The silicone in the shower is full of mold which is most likely due to the fact that the bathrooms have no ventilator. They have air Schafts where I could hear people in other rooms doing their business in the bathroom. The smell of the hallway on the 3rd floor where we are staying in is just terrible. It’s hard to describe it, but people with very sensitive noses will feel sick from the smell. The cleaning ladies are super friendly and put a lot of effort into helping us in our room. The valet workforce is friendly and not demanding. They helped us with our luggage and explained to us where we could leave our car for free. (Valet parking is 15€. )

The most disappointing part is that we chose the hotel for the sauna and gym. Now that both are beeing mixed due to the construction of the original gym you can’t enjoy either of them. For a hotel this expensive one could expect from the management to come up with better solutions or compensating the guests in some way for...

We are very upset about our stay at this hotel we had our luggage given to another hotel guest by the staff and they took no responsibility for this and we were initially accused of taking it ourselves by the management only for them to discover the truth and then admitted what had happened and promised to return it to us which they did 3 months later with my apple macbook pro laptop missing and a bunch of new perfumes.that were still in boxes unopened. I travel around the world visiting many hotels with beautiful experiences. This has been so disappointing beyond words What would it take for this hotel to be honouring ? I hope everyone who reads this , this hotel is full of gas lighters and full of excuses only to find out we are not the first ones to have such a bad experiance beware of management and staff thieves and to top it off now won’t even respond to us for who is going to pay for all the missing stuff check and find yourself a better hotel thieves all work there I will now post videos of the staff all over social media to make everyone aware including all the texts from management come on guys take responsibility and respond to my email

FYI update

Just received an email threatening me to stop telling my experience and was our fault for not having a lock on our suitcase at no stage are they accepting they gave my large to someone else . How dare you get threatened for telling the truth. All they do is try to intimidate you and bully you rather then take responsibility and fix the issue which you would have expected from such a big company. Will keep everyone updated unless they take responsibility for there failure

10 reasons why i will never stay at this hotel again: After paying 450 euros per night in a superior double room… 1- they didn’t confirm pick up from the port so we had to call and we waited for an hour a driver to come 2- konstantinous at the reception insisted to give us a rear room and he said it was fully booked, when i said i want to speak to a manager, he gave us a relatively good room with high floor as per my wish which he said it was without a view also, he doesnt know his hotel? He kept looking for a room on the system while we were waiting at the reception for almost 15 minutes!!!! 3- he didn’t make booking at the restaurant and when we called, they said no availability so we had to change it last minute 4- at the reception, trying to get a van ride took them an hour to confirm!!! Asked the same questions three times!! 5- the keys are always not working, had to change them three times! And same problem with other guests too!!! 6- the breakfast service was below 3 star and the food was cold… i ordered coffee while still having breakfast the waiter said sorry we finished breakfast! Ordered eggs twice and both times they came wrong! The manager at the breakfast is very loud and rude and the other waitress doesn’t know english!!! No body made a table for us, no one waited the table at all,,,, i had to go have breakfast somewhere else! 7- the pool service doesn’t exist, had to ask for the towel twice… no waiters and the pool men are lazy to walk to me!!! 8- spa is below average! They didn’t offer jacuzzi or sauna, didn’t offer the different types of massage and the massage lady was ok, but not the quality u pay 150 euros for!!! 9- beach service was ok but the waiter forgot to bring our lunch!!! And there was no available beds on the beach 10- room was poorly cleaned, even the dirty coffee cups were not changed

Not a five star and not worth 450...
