Avgerinos Paradise Studios Petra — Hotel in Municipality of Western Lesvos

I am absolutely staggered that anyone could leave a negative review of Paradise Studios. They are the best apartments in Petra if not Lesbos. The rooms are beautiful, scrupulously clean, well equipped with TV and air-conditioning. The whole atmosphere of the place is positive and uplifting. It is literally 70 metres from the sea although you have to walk a few hundred metres to the right to the beach. This is a family run business and the owner literally falls over backwards to make people welcome, they could not be nicer people. I had mosquito bites, the owner buys me insect repellants, no charge, he is such a nice man and I really object to some of the reviews on this page, trust me, I tell the truth, if he was ever rude to anyone then they would have deserved it. His son is equally helpful and friendly, his wife is charming, the owner should be truly proud for creating such a magical establishment.||There is a beautiful swimming-pool, pool-bar which serves breakfasts. It is five minutes walk from the shops in Petra. The car park is a little tricky to get into but no problem to a good driver. It was heaven on Earth and I was so sad to leave but I'll be back in 2016 and also please do not allow the migrant crisis to put you off, yes, some were coming ashore and heading for the island's capital but there was no trouble. We had two rooms that were both adequately furnished and equipped in every respect. One room had two balconies both with nice rural views. The family that owns and manage Paradise Studios could not have helped and served us better than they did. Sheets and towels were frequently changed. The location is only ten minutes walk to Petra Square and another few minutes to the beaches of either Petra or Avalaki. Petra Square is the hub for shops, bars, and restaurants all of which provide good quality goods at reasonable prices. We have been to Petra almost twenty times having stayed elsewhere; I so wish we had discovered this jewel before. Their swimming pool is immaculately clean and the poolside loungers are plentiful and comfortable. You cannot be disappointed with anything in my view. Where to start? Owners are truly fantastic, always working hard to keep the place clean, and in order, very gentle, and helpful. If you need information about things to do in the island, they are very knowledgeable. ||Rooms are very nice, there is everything you need to have a relaxing vacation, air conditioning works perfectly, even though you don’t need it much, the air in the island is always soothing. ||Swimming pool very clean, and a happy place for us and our son.
