Bebas Corner — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Lesvos

My first and hopefully only 1 star review so far because I was threatened by the owner to not write a bad review…

My experience being; I walked into this place around midnight, all the bartenders were writing stuff down, they were busy. I asked if they are still open and if I can order, he said “yes we are, just wait a bit, we are doing something.” I said: ok I will use the bathroom, and after that I ordered my drink. A mojito for takeaway. He suggested a plastic cup, which was sitting in front of me with only sugar added, for at least 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, I asked, if I could get a beer instead if its gonna take long. He said “no no we are very busy, we will make it soon.” I said: I see, its really ok, i can just have a bottled beer instead and be on my way, because I want a drink and walk home. He insisted on not serving me the beer and making me wait for Mojito. In a friendly way I told him: ok If you arent going to give me a beer instead, I worked in bar before, then let me into the bar and make myself the drink. He sweared at me and said “you never worked in a bar, you would understand they are busy if I worked in bar.” Again, I said: I understand, thats why I only want to grab a beer and go. So I let it go, wait for another couple of minutes, and went outside to see the name of the place, so I can write a review about my experience. And then, he left the counter, walked towards me and asked what am I doing… I said, im checking the reviews on google. He was like”no no you are gonna write a review arent you?” I didnt want trouble so I repeated that, I wanted to see how many stars they have, and from that moment he got more and more aggresive and I felt very threatened.

By working in the same industry, I can understand someone having a bad day but by the other reviews that I am seeing, this is a pattern. I love Greece and never had any problem with anyone in 4 different Greek cities, this place is a joke and big disgrace for the lovely...

Yannis!!!! He is a great guy! We order pinacolada and Malibu. Music, atmosphere and people are nice! We had some song requests and he played them for us , it was a nice compliment , we had great time and had chit- chat with Vassilis. He promised us to make pinacolada with coconut milk for the next time, he apologize for not having it this time. Kind and tactful manner! It is a must to stop by...

Fantastic place. Yanni is the man he makes you want to return time and time again which we did. It's the only place I could get Jim Beam. My drink was there before I ordered. We went every night and he had the time to speak to every night. It's a great place to people watch. Everything is freshly made (Cocktails) Alot of returning customers. Highly recommend. Hope to...
