Gaea Gardens Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Western Lesvos

I stayed at Gaea for 2 weeks this November, and it was probably the best hotel experience I have ever had. Nickos was waiting at my suitea when I arrived, a large private house on their property with a genuine and authentically Greek welcome. He helped me find the grocery store, ATM, and taught me just enough Greek to get me started. Not only did Nickos welcome me, but throughout the two weeks he did everything to make sure I was comfortable.

If you stay in Petra, stay here! You are 20 seconds from the beach, you have privacy without being far away from the fun, and you have Greek hosts who are truly generous and kind. I left feeling a deep respect for life on Lesvos and Gaea Gardens was largely responsible for that.

Recently back from a 2 week stay at Gaea Garden studios. We stayed in Tulipa bungalow. It was at the front of 3. So spacious, clean with superb water pressure. The kitchen is very well equipped, I cooked there a couple of times, which I love to do when in Greece. |We loved sitting out on the balcony in the morning listening and watching the birds in the nearby trees.|The bungalows are at the Molyvos end of Petra. A 10-15 min stroll into Petra, with several beach bars with loungers on the way.|Nicos, the owner was lovely with excellent communication via WhatsApp. It was a great base to travel between Molyvos & Anaxos. We had the most wonderful time in this stunning place. The studios are all finished to a high standard offering all that you will need either as a family or a couple. Very well equipped and decorated to a nice detail, always kept very clean during our 2 weeks' stay.|Nikos and Sofia are very approachable, showing a great sample of the Greek hospitality and offering advice on the sights and the local amenities.|Must try some of the local dishes that Sofia prepares occasionally.|Highly recommended for anyone wishing to relax and enjoy...
