We arrived to the beach of Cavo Christo with the intention of staying for the day and using the facilities .... their sign said free sunbed if you spent €3... we were 2 adults using sunbeds and 3 kids aged 12-15 who never sit on sunbrds... so we ordered 2 beers for then as kids were swimming with the intention of having drinks when they finished their swim and lunch later. they had a shower after the got out of the sea..and within 1 minute a woman came to us saying very forcefully you must pay €9 as your children used the shower... I replied saying we were intending to order drinks for the kids too and later food for us all and also pointed out her sign stated €3 per sunbed and our kids hadn't used a sunbed... she seemed appeased..||But 10 mins later she came back with a bill for €9 saying you must pay now cos your kids used shower and i have taken picture as evidence (wtf) and there are big taxes to pay and if the tax police come they have a big problem.. she was so aggressive she I said to here we already said our kids would order drinks and all of us lumch so there is no need to be rude and pushy... and I gave here the €9 ... but we felt very unwelcome and the whole beach was now looking at us... so we decided to leave.. i went to the bar to order €9 of drinks for kids... I told man we were leaving and he said you are liars ... you said 2 people... I said no we said 2 sunbeds and also told your waitress we wanted to have lunch and drinks for kids... ||So based on this experience I would not recommend the beach services... really hope hotel service us better... we went 100 meters up the beach and had a lovely lunch with pleasant and helpful...

Read moreDuring my stay in Petra I was there pretty much every day. The bar is conveniently located on the beach, there are always some places available and the service is awesome. I sometimes felt a bit awkward seeing these people work so hard to satisfy their customers whilst reading my book and swimming.
I must also commend the owners and staff on not giving me any interracial discomfort as some other companies/shops (such as a ceramics shop nearby), Greeks in general and not to mention a considerable portion of their Dutch clientele did. I mean: 0.
The prizes are very very fair also.
