If you are looking for a peaceful, welcoming holiday on a beautiful Greek Island then the Fyrogenis Palace is the place to stay. We have just returned from an amazing famiy hoilday at the Fyrogenis Palace in Paros, made all the more wonderful by the warm welcome and care by Kostas, Christina and the family who worked so hard to give us the best holiday possible. They are such lovely kind people, who really want to do any thing they can to make you feel welcome and we certainy felt welcome. Everything about the hoilday was as we had hoped for and more. We were a family of 4 adults, including grandparents in their 70's and 3 smal children aged 2,3 and 6. The accomodation was ideal for our needs with a delightful family room/apartment by the pool and a second apartment with balcony facing the sea. Both rooms were beaurifuly maintained, extremely clean and comfortable. The pool area was never crowded or noisy, infact most people went either to the beach (15 minute walk) or went exploring during the day. The two pools meant there was plenty of opportunity to swim and for children to play safely. Although there is not a restaurant, a continental buffet breakfasst is available every morning for 10 euros per person which is perfect for the the whole family plus an additional menu of various cooked snacks or light breakfast foods which are also availabe to purchase throughout the day. The bar is also available all day. There are various restaurants around 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel. We particularly liked the fish restaurant Vajiliki which is reasonably priced with plenty of choice. The Blue Oyster is also lovely but more pricey. Naousa is the nearest main town with fishing port which is very busy with lots of shops and restaurants. It is quite a lot more expensive than Paros pricing but may be worth a visit if you don't mind the crowds.By contrast, the island of Anti-Paros is definitely worth a visit, especially to watch the sun go down. There are a number of reliable taxi services to take you around the island and you can also hire quad bikes or mopeds. If looking for a taxi, check various companies as the prices do vary. We were so sad to leave at the end of our stay and would love to go back. We recommend this hotel...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but this place definitely deserves one.
From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out, everything was perfect and far beyond our expectations. The rooms were immaculate and thoughtfully equipped—with a mini fridge, electric stove, pots, pans, and glassware, in case you want to prepare your own meals. The pool area was great, and there’s even a smaller pool for kids, making it ideal for families. It’s the perfect place to stay in and relax.
The location was also perfect for us. It’s quiet and peaceful, especially compared to staying in Naoussa, which can get quite loud in the evenings. If you don’t feel like going far for food, there are restaurants within walking distance that I highly recommend. The quality and quantity you get for the price is significantly better than most of the restaurants in Naoussa.
This hotel has everything you could need, but what truly sets it apart is the love and effort behind it. It’s a family-run hotel that’s been operating for many years, and you can really feel the pride they take in their work. Everyone was warm and helpful, and special thanks go to Kostas, who assisted us from the moment we arrived. He helped arrange taxis, gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat, and went above and beyond when it came to renting a car—even helping to resolve a miscommunication with the rental company.
We had many questions and needed assistance several times, and not once did we feel judged or pressured. My friends and I truly felt at home, and any stress we had quickly melted away. Please take the time to speak with Kostas and the family—they’re truly wonderful people.
When I visit again, this will be the place I return to, and I’ll be recommending it to all my friends and family.
To the Fyrogenis Palace family, Again thank you so much for the amazing stay and we hope to come visit...
Read moreWe visited Fyrogenis Palace two times. We came back the second time in 2023 because we enjoyed the first time very much. The complex is situated near Naousa (3 km) which is the chic (and expensive) place in Paros. Naousa is the closest place to Mykonos at Paros (both geographically and society wise). The Ampelas area itself has developed the recent years and has become more upscale. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance and several of them at the seashore/beach. Super cool! And full of people every day. Several small beaches in walking distance. Fyrogenis Place itself is very well managed. The owners, Christin, Kosta and Dimitri are always around and ready to assist. The complex is well maintained and clean. The pool is very nice and recently renovated. Within 5-10 kms you’ll find very nice beaches (Santa Maria, Lageri, Monasteri and many more) and Lefkes which is a beautiful mountain village. Also worth mentioning is the Gyros Kebab place “Street Griller” in Naousa. The best Pita Gyros on Paros! Overall Fyrogenis Palace is very good value for money. Large and clean apartments. Simple and “spartanic” interior decoration and layout. Very nice private terraces on the lower level. And air conditioning in the rooms. So, if your preferences are a good location, well maintained complex, clean rooms with a decent bed and hot shower and a nice swimming pool this place is perfect. We stayed there for 10 days with teenagers. I recommend renting a car/motorbike in order to get around. It’ll just improve the...
