A true gem on Paros – warm hospitality, amazing food, and pure Greek charm!

This taverna was without a doubt one of the absolute highlights of our stay on Paros. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with such kindness that we immediately felt like part of the family. The hosts are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do – their warmth makes the whole place feel special.

The food was simply fantastic: fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Every dish, from the classic meze to the main courses, was prepared with care and tasted authentic and delicious. The portions are generous, and the value for money is more than excellent.

We loved it so much that we actually came back a second time – even though we were staying on the opposite side of the island! That probably says it all.

And let’s not forget the adorable neighborhood cats, who added even more charm to the cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

The food was good. We ordered and ate great shrimp and sardines. We also took away an excellent portion of lamp and oven potatoes. We found the Vasiliki salad to be a great mix of ingredients but not a great execution. The hazelnuts were whole, which made us think that someone just threw a handful in the salad. There was only one half cherry tomato, which means they make a big batch, and then you get what the spoon puts on your plate which is unfortunate for the price. The service was below average. It felt like a bunch of amateurs running the restaurant. We had to ask for the bill more than twice, had to ask for some food we wanted to take away at the end of the meal more than twice and we were never presented with the bill. Someone simply showed up with a card machine and announced the price. To top it all off, when we found a little stone in the unfortunate salad I mentioned earlier, the waiter simply replied with “it's got a great shape, almost looks like a heart” and without apologising walked away. I really hope they improve the service and they get less sloppy with the food as the location is...

Vasiliki Fish Restaurant is a true Paros treasure. The seafood is unbelievably fresh – tender grilled octopus, perfect feta cheese with honey, anchovies were insane and mussels saganaki bursting with flavor + 500gr of shrimps cooked to perfection . The location by the sea is pure magic, and the warm, attentive service makes you feel right at home.
