Where do I start, to describe paradise? My husband and I arrived without booking last Thursday on the off-chance they had a bungalow available for a week. The apartment we chose was perfect: clean, well-furnished with full catering facilities, delightful shower room and a bed as comfortable as ours at home but the terrace is amazing! 40 sq meters, one third shaded with table, chairs and loungers and glorious views through palms to the sandy, azure bay just 30 paces away.||||Mika and Christos welcomed us for a drink at their wonderful snack bar terrace and we thought we had simply renewed old friendships. Their levels of hospitality are un-rivalled in our travels, extending to exquisite snacks and Parian delicacies prepared by Mika, a fabulous cook. Christos daily laid out loungers for us under palm umbrellas on his beach and allowed us to cook on their fabulous, huge bbq - even providing the charcoal.||||The bungalow was cleaned and linens replaced daily - better service than any hotel. Chatting with them both, together with Mina and Christina was an absolute delight - Mina even gave me some Greek lessons!||||The location is stunning: tranquil, peaceful and relaxed but only 2.5 km from Naoussa by car. Perfect for couples or families, the sea is warm and shallow for yards and yards but then opens into a beautiful, sheltered lagoon.||||Cannot recommend it highly enough - the best experience so far in two...
Read moreWe arrived at the property to a warm welcome by Mrs Mika and her family. I was pretty sick upon arrival so just wanted to eat and then get a good night’s sleep. We went out and came back to the room at 11pm to discover ants - loads of them - on the floor, and on our stuff. Then we discovered so many drain flies in the bathroom. Then discovered our toilet flush did not work. As one can imagine I did not have a good sleep. My boyfriend was livid. In the morning the plumber came to fix the toilet, but neither of us could use the facilities all night long. I wanted to change hotels and leave early. Mrs Mika’s daughter said that they would be happy to refund us our money if we cancelled our booking and allowed someone else to book our room. Needless to say this did not happen. All friendliness disappeared when my boyfriend posted a bad review of the hotel. Apparently they may have had the room rebooked (high season in Greece after all) - but no sign of a refund or even a partial refund. They did however waive our 12euro bill at the bar (full disclosure). Anyway, I don’t think I will be back to Paros anytime soon and go to Mika only if u are willing to smile, shut up and pay.|PS: I have been going to Greece since the mid 90s, so this is not my first rodeo. I have also traveled extensively around much...
Read moreWe stayed at Mika Bungalows for two nights and definitely a right choose. The place is closed to Naoussa (few min driving), on the other hand, it is very peaceful and having nice sea view. It is only few steps from Xifara beach. we can just walk to the beach, enjoy the sunbath lounge, which offered by the owner to bungalows guests for free. ||||We stayed in triple room with very nice sea view and balcony. Mika, Chirstof and Christine are very nice and helpful hosts. They looked after the guests very well. We have several meals at bungalow, Mika made very authentic Greek family cooking. The dishes are so tasty. The breakfast is optional, but don't miss that, it is a big feast that fuel you up for all day activities.||||Mika Bungalows would not give you the luxury or glamours, but it offers a cozy and friendly environment that giving you a relax and enjoyable time in Paros. We have a very lovely...
