Siparos isn’t just a seaside restaurant, it’s a full-blown Greek culinary theme park where Poseidon himself probably books a table when he’s tired of tridents and tuna tartare. We kicked things off with the fried feta donuts. Yes, DONUTS. If Homer had written about these instead of Odysseus, that epic would’ve been over in two chapters. They come with sundried tomato sauce, and honestly, if ketchup tasted like this, McDonald’s would charge $15 per fry. Then came the wild mushrooms with cauliflower purĂ©e, fried capers, and egg yolk—basically a salad that went to Harvard and studied philosophy. Deep, earthy, and so fancy I half expected it to give me life advice. But the true MVP? The grilled octopus with beluga lentils. Tender, smoky, and plated so beautifully it looked like it had auditioned for Top Chef Greece. My fork barely touched it before it dissolved like Zeus’s lightning bolt in my mouth. Of course, the scallops came out sautĂ©ed on Jerusalem artichoke purĂ©e with bonito powder, and at that point, I was convinced Siparos wasn’t cooking food, they were practicing sorcery. Prices? Let’s just say my credit card whimpered, but honestly, it’s worth every euro when you’re this close to ordering food that could have been on Mount Olympus’ Uber Eats. Pro tip: come hungry, leave full, and bring stretchy pants. This isn’t just dinner—it’s a love letter from the Aegean Sea written directly on your taste buds.

By far the biggest high for this place is the stunning setting, short drive out of town, by the water with the most striking sunset on the island. The open floor space just as pleasant, with a dressed up, mostly high end crowd for dinner
all perfect if it wasn’t for the disappointing food quality. A new preparation for the grilled calamari was an unfortunate combo of indigestible kale, overly salted sauce and calamari, paired with small amount of a very good parsnip pure. Green salad w/shrimp overly salted as well. Beet salad, came bland, more like a huge side of beets, not an elevated dish. Fish roe & Fava spreads good, not great. Octopus, enjoyed for lunch a day prior was good but on the small size variety. Service good, though mechanical & little nervous. Not the best dinner experience anymore on the island.

Speechless sunset views, unforgettable flavors at SIPAROS in Paros is truly a gem! The atmosphere is enchanting. The sunset alone is worth the visit, but the food takes the experience to another level. Every dish is crafted with obvious love and care, using fresh, local ingredients that cater even to the most refined palate. The tomato salad with croutons was to die for, so simple, yet so full of flavor. All the appetizers were flavorful and delicious, a true celebration of Greek culinary tradition with a creative touch. Service was friendly, efficient, and on point, although not that friendly!! This place quickly became one of my favorites in Paros, and I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a beautiful dinner setting, SIPAROS is a must-visit!

Here’s the translation:

Why am I giving only 1 star? Not because of the food, which, like every year, was 5 stars, but because of the incompetent manager. We wanted to spend a lovely evening at Siparos, as we always do. However, we were surprised that some of the clientele unfortunately had more of a Mykonos style, rather than the usual elegant and refined atmosphere with good modern Greek cuisine.

We were actually having a nice evening, but the service was somewhat overwhelmed, as it seemed everyone arrived at the same time. For example, we had wine with the cocktails and, most notably, a simple beer. I had to wait 10 minutes for that. The food was excellent, as always.

Then came the reason for the poor rating. As usual, Siparos, like in the past, gave a 2-hour time window. I fundamentally understand this rule to possibly get rid of customers who are no longer ordering. Our wine had been empty for 45 minutes. No one asked if we might want something else. We had eventually ordered desserts. When the desserts arrived, we were unequivocally told that our time was up and we had to leave. However, several other tables were still free. What is this? Allowing us to order dessert and then telling us we need to leave? What kind of money-grabbing tactic is that?

When I expressed my displeasure, the restaurant manager came over. One of his first sentences was, “Didn’t you read the email?” After that, it was all over. Simply untrained and incompetent. All further attempts—and we could have kept the table longer—were futile. An absolutely untrained manager who should be replaced quickly.

By the way, at the neighboring table, there were three Greeks sitting at a table for eight! In the parking lot (valet service), we were then asked to describe our car (rental car) so they could find it. The level of Siparos has unfortunately deteriorated to that of Stilvi. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back. Thankfully, there are so many beautiful and good restaurants where you are welcome as a good-paying customer.

In summary, the manager ruined what was actually a very nice evening with his initial arrogance. His attempts to make up for it came too late. Maybe he’ll learn something from this and take a course at a truly good restaurant. I’d be happy to arrange an appointment with one of our many friends in the gastronomy industry to show him how to treat paying customers in good restaurants! Perhaps it would also help to think back to the time of COVID when we supported Siparos as well. It’s a shame, and unfortunately,...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Siparos, a charming restaurant located in the beautiful island of Paros. From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat. Siparos combines exquisite seafood cuisine, a captivating atmosphere, impeccable service, and breathtaking sunsets to create an unforgettable dining experience.

The highlight of my visit to Siparos was undoubtedly the exceptional fish and lobster dishes. The menu boasted an impressive selection of freshly caught seafood, and each dish was prepared to perfection. The fish was incredibly fresh, delicately seasoned, and expertly cooked to retain its natural flavors. The lobster was succulent and tender, leaving me longing for more with each bite. Siparos truly knows how to showcase the treasures of the sea, making it a haven for seafood enthusiasts.

Apart from the delectable cuisine, the ambiance at Siparos was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled in a picturesque location, the restaurant offered breathtaking views of the mesmerizing Paros sunset. As the golden hues painted the sky, I found myself completely immersed in the beauty of nature while enjoying my meal. The outdoor seating area provided a romantic and relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a memorable evening with loved ones or a peaceful solo dinner.

The service at Siparos was exceptional in every aspect. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing a top-notch dining experience. From the moment I entered the restaurant until the moment I left, I felt well taken care of. The waitstaff offered helpful recommendations, ensured timely service, and catered to any specific requests I had. Their knowledge and enthusiasm added an extra layer of enjoyment to my evening at Siparos.

In conclusion, Siparos is a hidden gem in Paros that combines exceptional seafood, a captivating atmosphere, and impeccable service. Whether you are a seafood lover or simply looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Siparos is a must-visit destination. The fresh fish and lobster dishes will tantalize your taste buds, while the breathtaking sunset views will leave you awe-inspired. The attentive and friendly staff will make you feel like a valued guest throughout your visit.
