Porto Paradiso — Hotel in Paros Municipality

I can’t find words to describe this terrible place other then horrific. We have arrived after 20h with small children after a long trip on a ferry and a walk from the bus station. There was no one to give us a key or tell us where we are actually staying. Other guests told us, that the people working there would hardly be around and I should call the number given on the booking platform. Calling the “management” they didn’t pick up but send a text that a certain mr. Dionisos would be arriving in a few minutes. Meanwhile my husband found the gardener to open us the door. The place was the worst I have ever seen. I guess pictures say more then a thousand words so have a look yourself. It’s definitely far away from what you see on booking platforms. Wholes in the floors, totally laid through beds, old and run down furniture (which is mainly old garden furniture from ikea) and all the interior actually, wholes in the mosquito nets, stinking bathroom where the water wouldn’t rund down properly but flood the whole room, no shower curtains (what actually I am happy about regarding the conditions of everything there), mould on the bedding, dirty light switches, and too much more to mention in detail. The terrace- which in principle would be lovely, was “separated” by a wooden branch to “secure” of for kids from falling off the too low railing. I could sleep the whole night but only think of how to get away in the middle of summer last minute with a family of four. The next morning the was supposed to be breakfast. But nobody there to tell you where and from what time or anything. After all we saw somebody showing up at the “ beach bar”- part of the place, who after us asking for breakfast said not more then “yes” but disappeared for about half an hour returning with Omelett and toast and some dirty cutlery. The food itself was ok, and if there would have been more information, we wouldn’t even complain. An hour later some more guys showed up, sat at the bar, smoked, drank coffee. Later we found out this where the people sort of running this place. They didn’t really welcome us or ask if we found everything right and in order or anything else. We have never experienced such a bad non existing service “ hotel” - really the only good thing is that it’s right at the beach but actually nobody would like to stay there anyway because even beach beds are run down. Luckily, we found a agreement with the owner of the place (who is actually not there but only available by phone) to not pay the full price and be able to leave earlier. But actually any Cent for this place...

Η μονάδα ήταν μία από τις τέσσερεις στις οποίες είχαν γίνει κρατήσεις σχεδόν ένα μήνα πριν για τον επικείμενο γάμο ο οποίος θα γινόταν στην περιοχή.||Το συγκεκριμένο κατάλυμα θα πρέπει να ήταν κλειστό μέχρι την άφιξη μας ή θα είχε ανοίξει λίγα 24ωρα πριν! Και όταν λέμε είχε ανοίξει εννοούμαι ότι οι “υπεύθυνοι” έβαλαν τα κλειδιά στις σκουριασμένες κλειδαριές και άπλωσαν κακήν κακώς κάποια σεντόνια.||Με την άφιξη μας οδηγηθήκαμε από έναν νεαρό με το όνομα Γιάννης σε δωμάτια του ορόφου. Από την είσοδο και μόνο η θέα ήταν τραγική, το μόνο που είχε προηγηθεί από εμάς (πιστεύω σε σχέση με το τέλος της προηγούμενης σεζόν) ήταν κάποιο στρώσιμο του κρεβατιού. Το δωμάτιο ήταν παν βρόμικο, υπήρχαν διάσπαρτα σκουπίδια και πεταμένα αντικείμενα, το ψυγείο είχε πολυκαιρισμένα υπολείμματα, το ίδιο και το WC, ούτε το καζανάκι είχαν τραβήξει. Διαμαρτυρηθήκαμε, ο Γιάννης δήλωσε αναρμόδιος, μετά από τηλεφωνική επικοινωνία του με τους “υπεύθυνους” (λέμε τώρα) μεταφερθήκαμε σε δωμάτια του ισογείου. Η κατάσταση φαινομενικά ήταν καλύτερη και μία καθαρίστρια προσπαθούσε να μαζέψει τα αμάζευτα. “Με κάλεσαν άρον άρον” μου λέει. Ανοίγω το ψυγείο, ήταν γεμάτο με έντομα!! Από wi-fi ούτε για αστείο, το ίδιο και για τηλεόραση, κοιτάω την σύνδεση, καλώδια στον αέρα δεν γινόταν τίποτα. Ο Γιάννης δηλώνει αναρμόδιος…. . Στην ίδια μοίρα και ο περιβάλλον χώρος, δίπλα στην εξωτερική πόρτα του δωματίου υπήρχαν στοιβαγμένες σε δημόσια θέα άπλυτες πετσέτες και σεντόνια δίπλα σε ένα σπασμένο πλυντήριο μαζί με άλλα σκουπίδια (όχι δεν τα μάζεψαν την επομένη έμειναν εκεί μέχρι κα την τελευταία ημέρα). ||Όλος ο εξωτερικός χώρος ήταν διάσπαρτος από σκουπίδια και άχρηστα αντικείμενα (σπασμένα τραπέζια, καρέκλες, ομπρέλες, πλαστικά και ότι μπορεί να φανταστεί κανείς). Καθ’ όλη την διάρκεια της διαμονής δεν εμφανίστηκε κάποιος “υπεύθυνος”. Κάποια στιγμή δέχτηκα τηλ/μα, επί λέξη .. “Ενώ εσείς κάνετε το μπάνιο σας εμείς καθαρίζουμε συνέχεια, ζητάμε την κατανόηση σας.. Ξέρετε πριν από εσάς έμενε μια οικογένεια Γάλλων και η νταντά των παιδιών δεν καθάριζε καθόλου?? ” .. . Δεν είπε το όνομα του δεν εμφανίστηκε ποτέ, το ίδιο και η καθαρίστρια.|| Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι μόνο η εν λόγω μονάδα απαίτησε εκτός από την προκαταβολή να γίνει πλήρη εξόφληση του συνόλου των ημερών διανυκτέρευσης πριν την άφιξη (αυτοί ήξεραν!). Μάλιστα οι “υπεύθυνοι” της μονάδας επικοινωνούσαν επιτακτικά με τους πελάτες για να καταθέσουν σε τραπεζικό λογαριασμό την εξόφληση!!||Μέχρι σήμερα έχω γυρίσει σχεδόν όλη την τουριστική και όχι μόνο Ελλάδα, έχω μείνει σε αμέτρητα καταλύματα, κάτι παρόμοιο δεν συνάντησα ΠΟΤΕ!||Σημειώνω ότι οι τρεις άλλες μονάδες της περιοχής στις οποίες διέμειναν οι υπόλοιποι καλεσμένοι του γάμου και η κάθε μία στην κατηγορία της...

the hotel is on the perfect spot...right ON THE GOLDEN BEACH....you actually exit the room and dive in one of the most beautifull beaches on the world......the services are basic and that;s all you need at this paradise.....THE STAFF IS SO GREAT AND FRIENDLY THAT YOU FEEL LIKE HOME........DO NOT EXPECT LUXURY...THE LUXURY HERE IS THE VIRGIN BEAUTY OF GOLDEN COAST......you have a small beach bar with basic service and that's it......the calm, the pure GREEK hospitallity of these young people that service you here make you rediscover yourself....and the unique blue sea and magnifficent sunset washes away all the dark thoughts.....trust the place by expecting ....less and surprise yourselves by getting amazing original holidays......i hope that i wll help everyone to discover the small paradise that i found.......in the most beautifull country...
