In general, the pictures are taken in a very smart way, the rooms are not nearly as luxurious as they look and you definitely need a car to get around here. The pool is nice, but it’s very small. Before, what I will describe afterwards happened, the landlady and her husband were quite nice. Nevertheless, this is not the reason, why I give only 2 stars. If interested, please read below.||We have been Island hopping for some time now and decided to book the small villa as a (re)treat after a week of more touristic areas and hotels. We actually saved up for this. Unfortunately, the accommodation did not keep the small villa free for us, but put us in the superior pool room view. This, of course can happen, but the way it was handled by the accommodation was extremely unprofessional from my point of view. Instead of offering a refund, which, in my eyes would have been the least, the lady claimed that we in fact were in the small villa until I showed here the pictures of her own website with pictures of exactly the room we were in. Also the sqm that were in the description were obviously not fulfilled. Then she argued that she had another booking with more people, for whom our room would have been to small (website claims its enough room for 4, I agree, it might be packed, but hey, that’s what they booked), so she put them in the small villa instead of us. I would have appreciated this info before we arrived here, so we for sure would have rebooked. After a short argument, she agreed to give us a full refund and we decided to take a different hotel. Naturally, there was no offer to support in finding a hotel or getting a transfer (the villa is literally in the middle of nowhere). All in all, we wasted 6 hours of precious “holiday daytime” as well as the money for the transfer from the port to the villa and back(50€). What’s worst is that the landlady tried to convince us that we were in the wrong, though the mistake was clearly on their side. Very...
Read moreWe had great time @ Villa Pela. 1st of all the guests were great people, very friendly, they can talk in English and French (maybe other launguages as well), and both very polite.||About the area is very peaceful with space to park your car around.||We were staying at a ground level, pool view room which was very nice, clean and tidy. This room was ok enough for a couple and a small kid. If you have kid over 10 years old, you may choose another room (at least in our standards). From the window we could see the pool and this was very nice and helpful to observe our kid when she was swimming. The pool was clean too and everyday a guy was cleaning it from dirt (it was windy that time).||We had the chance to see some other rooms as well and i can tell you thet were all great and as you can see from the pics in their own special design!||Overall we had great time there! Well done...
Read moreWhen we booked the apartment building we thought it was a little expensive compared with other hotels in the area, but the pictures were so nice we thought it would be worth it, we’ll it was not! The rooms and pool area is a lot more simple than what the pictures on Booking show. There are much better hotels with more amenities for a lot less money in the area and especially in Náoussa, which I preferred. Also the taxi provided by the hotel was overpriced, so would recommend getting other transportation. ||At 6am the roosters would wake us up, so if you are looking for a country feel maybe this is a good choice, we on the other hand like sleeping in. When contacting the numbers provided by the hotel, they would either answer really late or not at all.||On the plus side, the cleaning was good and the WiFi...
