To Balconi tou Aki — Restaurant in Paros Municipality

Unfortunately we had a bad experience, the food was great but the service was the worst I have experience during my 15 days in Greece.

The head of the shift was an arrogant young lad, that mostly went between the tables chatting with ppl and the personal wasn't in sync (even though the place was basically empty when we arrived). My partner got her food quite quickly, but still after 30 minutes my food hadn't arrived, no one checked up on us we tried to get attention. Finally when they realised, they had totally forgotten 1/2 of our order and ya the experience was a mess. I of course gave this feedback to the owner but the reaction wasn't great, no accountability or forgiveness. We will fix your order now, have we missed anything else. Was the reaction.

Once my swordfish did arrive, it was actually great tasting. But a bit hard to enjoy the experience since it was completely out of sync and in total 45 minutes after it was initially ordered and the water warm, out of wine. We did order a beer along with the food but it arrived along our bill. We basically just wanted to leave and forget that we came in the first place it was a totall mess.

With all this said, I most definitely think you can have an amazing experience. The views from the balcony is amazing and the food tasted great if you actually just get the food or the service...

We visited the place,and we were very disappointed with almost everything and it's a shame they have a place that looks nice on the surface, we got an uncomfortable sitting place that was not straight with uncomfortable chairs and direct sunlight on our faces, and the smell of sewage from the sand full of oils from the boats nearby, after we found a better place in the restaurant, and there it started A phase of long waiting for the waiter to give service, when he arrived and asked if we are ready, I answered that we are ready for a long time and he probably didn't like it and he decided to torture us with bad service, we didn't get the cocktail we ordered even though he said there was initially, we got the food we ordered after a long time time by another waiter cold and full of oil the only thing that was good was the greek salad and that is hard to spoil, the first waiter barely came to serve and only at the end after we wanted to pay in cash he came with the bill didn't wait to take the money again we had to wait we gave another waiter the money and waited for the excess For a very long time, it's a shameful behavior and we won't go there anymore , there is no shortage of restaurants in the area and we are going to check out other restaurants that are in a less good location, but With better service and good...

Aylki is is in the south of Paros, about 40 mins drive from Naoussa, car rental is the easiest

Stunning drive lands you at the village. Parking was easy and a short walk has you in the harbour.

The restaurant was one of the best located restaurants in the village, waterside, plenty of seating on the edge of the water.

Recommended by our hotel, as the owner has the fishing boat that serves his restaurant.

Quickly seated, drinks bread and salad, some olive oil vinegar and life is good.

The food was delicious, fried calamari, fried small prawns, the pork ribs the salted cod, the boiled soft octopus- all as delicious as the next

The serving sizes were wonderful, it was a struggle to finish

This is a must do restaurant, even if you have had to slow down to regain your strength to eat seconds - the kids can have a quick dip in the clear water of the bay.

Freshness quality and simply great and quick service is what was on offer.

Watching the waiters with those massive wood trays up on the shoulder and delivering the hot food quickly.

Do t forget the menu has some amazing seafood risottos and pastas, the local crab salad amazing.

I left heavier, smiles on faces, the price was truly reasonable for the seafood...
