(1) Room: last minute booking got us a 4-person room so room is spacious, with kitchenette. Utensils, pots and pans, and electric kettle and hotplate available. Dishes, liquid detergent available as well. No dish towels. Small balcony in the larger bedroom, but no view. No TV. Room is clean, just some squeaky headboards and doors. ||(2) Location: In Grikos part of the island. Not in port center. Walking distance to beach, but no sea view from room. Walking distance to open carpark. There are 3 restaurants by the beach. We tried 2 of them and they are very good. No shops though. It's just a short drive to Skala.||(3) Wi-Fi: terrible connection and signal||(4) Service: Very friendly and helpful owner. Helped me with ferry boat schedule when I asked him about connection ferry to Samos, and helped me with luggage.||(5) Breakfast: Extra 5 euros per person per day. Since we have a kitchenette, we bought some groceries and made our own breakfast, that way we can sleep in late in the morning.||All in all, we are happy with our stay. Hotel hospitality is...
Read moreA really nice and small hotel.
The beds are really good (not the old spring beds). There is all there - from a sink to a cooker. The fridge is cold and the air conditioner works great. Also you can find a save in the closet, which is really nice to store cameras etc. Also there is a little balcony for long evenings. You walk 50m and there is the beach. Great!
All in all the service is OK.
Why one star less? Cause near the hotel there is absolute nothing. No mini market. You have to pay 1,80€ for a bus ticket to Skala which has anything. The location is not really great for the hotel.
For hiking/relaxing its wonderful but if you want to visit places and a bit shopping you have to drive with taxi or the bus. Meeting a car is possible but inky 2-3...
Read moreThe hotel is 100 metres from a small port a three tavernas. The place is very quiet. There is a Beach with sunbeds near, but it belongs to a luxurious hotel and our hotel owner Warner us that it is very expensive.he recomended another Petra beach About 1km from here. Very quiet, clean, pebbled Beach. But we spent for the umbrella, two sunbeds a two frapes 15 euros! Be careful, in location there is not is single shop, So we had to hire a motorbike and went to Skala for all the shopping, including water. We spent our holiday exploring the Island, which is quite quiet, with very few teaches. There are very quiet unequiped beaches and sea gress everywhere. Generally the dinners here were awsome in...
