Hotel Kassopi — Hotel in Preveza Municipality

I visited this hotel in July 2014. ||||1. The location is quite convenient, quiet and the distance from the nearby beach is approximately 100m. For the (close) organized beaches and bars, you need a vehicle. ||  ||2. The hotel needs immediate renovation, everything resembled previous decades (the phone with the rotary dial, the air-condition with the incredible rust in the outdoor unit, the holes in the plastic shutters, the cheap wood wardrobes with the 30 year-old material and the broken handles, the poorly repainted walls). ||||The offered breakfast was, at least inadequate. It would have been better if they hadn't offered breakfast at all if they couldn't afford it. ||||3. Hot water was available for the first few days. The next day no water was available because the weather was cloudy, another day they had problems with the equipment. Only 4-5 rooms were occupied in the hotel, i can't imagine what would have happened if the hotel was full. This is not of my business, i demanded to have hot water to wash our small kids but this was not possible. ||||4. THE HIGHLIGHT: LACK OF CLEANLINESS, there was dust on many of the furnishings and bathroom. We decided to put these problems aside and enjoy our holiday. However the last few days something incredible happened. We left one night a used/dirty towel on the bathroom floor, like in all the hotels, in order to be replaced. The next afternoon, we found it spread on the rails of our balcony so as to be dried. We marked it with makeup to see what they intend to do with this towel. The next afternoon, we found the same marked towel in the pile with our clean towels, dried (=""""clean"""") ready to be used!!!! SHAME ON THEM, they violated elementary hygiene rules and they didn't "respect" either us or, most basically, our little kids. ||||We could oversee many things, not the...

L'Hotel si trova in una zona tranquilla, a pochi passi dal mare e dalla bella spiaggia. L'edificio è circondato da un giardino ben curato, si può prendere il sole anche in piscina. Le camere hanno il balcone e un po' di vista. Le stanze non sono grandissime e non hanno fronzoli, ma sono pulite ed hanno tutto il necessario: aria condizionata, frigo, asciuga capelli. La doccia è spaziosa, gli infissi sono nuovi e provvisti di zanzariera.|Le perplessità riguardano innanzitutto la colazione: nonostante durante il nostro soggiorno l'Hotel fosse pieno, la colazione lasciava molto a desiderare. Il pane e la focaccia dolce erano confezionati, i cornetti (senza ripieno) sembravano di cartone. Marmellata confezionata e non c'era nemmeno burro, ma solo margarina. Come salato c'erano solo le solite fettine confezionate di prosciutto e formaggio, più uova sode. Questo stupisce, considerando che in un hotel a Galaxidi (località ben più rinomata!) per lo stesso prezzo la colazione era a dir poco imperiale, con tanto di prodotti fatti in casa.|Durante il giorno il bar nella hall serve solo bibite e non hanno nulla da mangiare, nè un gelato nè della frutta (che resta a marcire sugli alberi del giardino).|Per finire , nonostante l'albergo sia a gestione familiare, manca quella cordialità e quel sorriso che si riscontrano invece solitamente in posti simili. |Inspiegabilmente l'ultimo giorno di permanenza non ci è stata pulita la camera.|Un avvertimento: nonostante ci siano gli adesivi esposti sulla porta con l'indicazione di carte di credito Visa e MasterCard, non è stato possibile pagare in modo elettronico. Questo può essere un problema se non avete abbastanza contante in periodi affollati, in quanto ci è capitato che gli unici 3 punti per prelevare contanti nelle vicinanze fossero tutti fuori uso, costringendoci ad andare...

It doesn’t worth a penny. This place is awful and dirty. All I can say is that staying there was a nightmare. |- The floor under the bed looked liked like it was never cleaned.
