We had a nice week in Skopelos. The whole tourism concept, feeling of ease, genuine kindness of the people you meet and the nature on the island itself nostalgically remind of summer holiday fashion some 30 years ago – the good sides of it, which are slowly disappearing in the era of industrial tourism. ||The house has an excellent location, in a quite path just aside the very centre of the little village (where it feels that everyone knows each other and it’s still not over flooded with tourists), very close to a few local restaurants, local bakery and a little supermarket. The beach is just a few steps away.||From the first until the very last moment of your stay, we remained positively surprised with the hospitality of the hosts, who live in one of the apartments. You feel like a guest of the family rather then just as one of tourists. ||We stayed in the spacey, traditionally furnished apartment on the ground floor, integrated with the house and with a personal touch. ||We really enjoyed relaxed mornings and evenings on a little terrace, below a tree and oleander flowers with a nice view on the sea and marine.||The house has also a freshly (in July) renovated two-level apartment on the upper floor, with more modern interior design and a magnificent, huge roof terrace overlooking the sea. ||Good wi-fi connection (which is not so typical for islands)||For trips around this green island (beautiful Skopelos town, other stunning beaches) it's advisable to have a car standing by – and it’s really worthwhile. Bus transport around the island (especially to some of the nearest beaches) is also to recommend, timing is rather accurate, though not...

Real home with a bunch of artistic details that remind you of where you are: bowls full of seashells, marble boats, wooden ships, paintings of the seashore, books... The most beautiful detail of the house is the terace itself, with the view on the marina and the sea, where you can hear the sound of the sea, smelling it in the same time. This small yard terace, decorated with big earthenware pots of fern and flowers, represents the prettiest part not only of this small place but of the whole paradise island. Behind heavy iron gates, defied by gentle pink tree petals, Lina and Stamatis will welcome you. They love their homeland, their island, their Skopelos. Also, they offer great advice in beach selection, they are your guide to everything, and above all, a genuine friends. Lina would often show up with a recently cooked jam jar, with pieces of Skopelos traditional sweets, or with a bowl full of fruits...||Just immerse yourselves into this fairy tale and enjoy.||Jelena and Vladan,...
