Liostasi Houses Skyros — Hotel in Skyros Municipality

Back to Skyros after 15 years... Together with our 4 year old son, we spent a week in August at Liostasi Houses. The hosts, Apostolos and Angeliki, with their two kids and the 4 month old baby kitten, offered us an outstanding experience, especially during this sensitive time where the top requirement is hygiene. In a quiet house complex with a spacious beautiful garden and studios/appartments set in a way to allow for privacy, although the place was fully booked, we got the peace and the comfort to enjoy our mornings and evenings - with our son playing in the garden, myself getting my online daily training under the trees shadows, my husband sheltering his kites and boards, and all enjoying the summer breeze at the terrace with a view to the Chorio (chora of Skyros). We got a triplex room on the ground floor nicely decorated and with a brand new bathroom, but no kitchen- booked quite late so there was no availability - and the hosts were kind to offer us an electric stove and cutleries at no extra cost. The wifi speed is good - as we had to join a couple of webex meetings for work. There is a ceiling fan which worked perfectly, as well as an aircondition that we didn’t need to use. Last but most important, there was daily cleaning service and the room and terrace were sparkling clean and fresh. Apostoli and Angeliki, many thanks for your hospitality and your great tips! Πολυ κεντρικο σημειο στο νησι. Ωστοσο θελει 10 λεπτα περπατημα για την κοντινή παραλία. Πολυ περιποιημένος ο εξωτερικός χωρος(ωραίος κήπος με γκαζον και λουλουυδια,δέντρα).Τα δωμάτια καθαρα φρεσκοβαμμενα με απλα μοντερνα αξεσουαρ. Καθημερινή καθαριότητα των δωματίων στα πολυ θετικά. Ελλειψη σκίασης στο πολύ ωραίο μπαλκόνι που διαθέτει καθε δωμάτιο. Αυτο είναι ενα μικρό μειονέκτημα!. Δεν δούλευε το wi fi! Δεν ειχε καθολου καλό σήμα. Πολυ ευγενική και φιλική η ιδιοκτητρια! Δεν εχει ιδιαιτερη θέα. Για μια 4μελή οικογένεια, οπως η δική μου, ειναι πολυ καλή επιλογή. Το μόνο ιδιαιτερα ενοχλητικό ήταν οι γείτονες(διπλανό δωμάτιο στο δικο μας) που εκαναν φασαρία μεχρι μετα τα μεσανυχτα καθε βραδυ καθως καθονταν στο δικο τους μπαλκονακι (βεραντα) και μιλουσαν δυνατα σαμ να ήταν μεσημεροαπογευμα!!) Ισως θα επρεπε νσ τονιζεται απο τους ιδιοκτήτες εξαρχής η τηρηση των ωρων κοινης ησυχίας απο ολους τους ενοίκους, καθως τα δωματια ειναι πολυ κοντα το ενα με το αλλο και οι ομιλίες ειναι ιδιαιτερα ενοχλητικές !) ( ενιωθες λες και οι διπλανοι ενοικοι βρισκονταν στο δωμάτιό σου!!!!). Συνολικά πάντως μια ιδιαιτερα καλή επιλογή με κσλό...

We had great time. The owners were very hospitable. Gave us details for beaches, good tavernas and nice spots at the chora for coffees and drinks. The place newly built, clean, nearby molos beach was very nice, lovely surrounding with garden, spacious parking, great view of the chora. We recommend strongly for couples and...
