Ktima Chryssafis — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

These apartments are typical for Greece and the islands in being pretty basic but having all you need. Cooking facilities are restricted to two hotplates, a frying pan and a saucepan, so you need to plan your meals accordingly if you intend to cook. Having said that, these apartments are approx. 20 minutes from the village centre, where there are plenty of affordable restaurants and cafes. The apartments are set in a stunning location, with the local mountains as a back-drop. Spotlessly cleaned daily, with towels and bedding changed alternate days. There is a busy main road running past the apartments (the only road) You have two options regarding the noise, you can close your doors and use the air-conditioning (small daily charge) or just leave the screen doors closed and tolerate the traffic, which we did! There is a small balcony with table and chairs, hairdryer and super fast kettle. The water is safe to drink. the beds are on the firm side, but you soon get used to them. We really enjoyed our stay here, a little outside the village but lovely location. I'd recommend getting a car for a few days to get...

Stayed here for a week in early June. The place is spotlessly clean, the two girls do a fantastic job, sorry don't know your names. ||Typical Greek accommodation could be made slightly better by a few tweaks. Toaster, hairdryer, wine glasses, kitchen bin.. A swimming pool would be a fantastic addition. Oh and the beds are very hard. I would definatly recommend a car as the walk to beach and tavernas takes approximately 30 minutes and at night some of the road is without lights. We did use a taxi and was €5 from apartment to golden beach. The local baker comes every morning with a lovely selection of breads and pastries which was very welcome as the nearest supermarket is near the beach. Had a great week and would stay again but with a hire car...

The woman who cleans and also takes care of the accommodations in the absence of the boss is very rude, disorganized and bad with others and does not know English at all. She comes to the yard and shouts in her language so that we don't understand, as if she were insulting us all. She doesn't let us sit at a table as if it were her yard and she thinks she's very superior even though she's a housekeeper. She is very stingy and she ruin the whole hotel. Also the rooms are not so good, the shower head is broken, there are no ventilations in the bathroom and it is suffocating and also the villa is very far from the city...
