Galatea — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

We visited this hotel in September with my sister. As we already been to Laganas, we wanted something calm and cozy. This hotel is a mix of village stay and perfect hotel studio. |Location is a bit far from everything, but in walking distance to big supermarket, nice bakery and two restaurants ( one of them is right at the sea side down of the hotel road). In 40 minutes we were walking to Alikanas.|Hotel surrounded with wonderful garden and olive trees forest! |There are only three floors and each of them has wonderful view ( or sea , or garden). Each room has a terrace where you can have breakfast listening to the birds.|Room is spacious, with good fully equipped kitchen and fridge. |We had no problem with WiFi- signal was very good.|The owner of the hotel is wonderful gentlemen - Mr.Spiros! We wanted to book somewhere out of the way from the party scene in Zante, and found this place through hotels.com. The rooms are spacious and the view out from our balcony is amazing and has great air conditioning. The only issue really is it is a little further away than anticipated but we like to walk and travel on holiday so not too much of an issue. If you get a taxi it's around €11 to Tsivili which I would highly recommend for shops and the beach. The owner was very helpful indeed, just a little bit of a language barrier. The only other issue was the wifi and there is no English TV so make sure you have something downloaded or your own internet or dongle. But this has been great for...

We liked our room, the property in a quiet area, the cleaning service was every day, the staff was very kind and helpful, we cooked almost every night, the room temperature was not very hot, the air conditioning worked well. We really felt and had a wonderful holiday in Greece. All the good beaches are close to here on the northeast coast of the island. We have recommended and will book again on our next trips...
