The food The food at Porta Del Mar is unmatched. Here, I had the best seafood pasta in the world, and the grilled prawns are absolutely phenomenal. Additionally, the grilled beef and lamb dishes are juicy and cooked to perfection. The menu changes almost daily thanks to the "catch of the day," which brings freshness and variety to every plate.

Service One of the restaurant's biggest strengths is the impeccable service. For over 10 years, two brothers have been involved in serving customers, and this continuity and attention to detail can be felt in every interaction. Together with the owner and his wife, they ensure a complete experience, offering each customer the attention they deserve. Despite the large number of guests, the waiting time is short, a sign of well-organized and efficient management.

I took my girlfriend here for a surprise dinner and was extremely excited to experience it after seeing numerous pictures and good reviews online. When we arrived, the venue was beautiful! I reserved the private dining experience on the terrace. That day there were high winds so the amazing staff here made us up a table inside a private area that had the same views as outside so it didn’t feel like we had to compromise much as the views were still amazing! Our waitress Anna was excellent in every way. Very knowledgable about the menu and wine and paired our delicious meal with a lovely bottle of white wine. I cannot tell you how good the food was and every dish impeccable and beautifully presented. From start to finish this was undoubtedly the best dining experience I’ve ever had, and I like to think that I am fairly well travelled. Everything from being greeted on entry, the politeness and attentiveness of the staff, the views, the architecture, the food and the atmosphere, made this a truly once in a lifetime experience that I cannot recommend enough. The price may initially look a little bit expensive for some, but I promise it is a memory you will cherish for a lifetime! It would be the perfect place for a marriage proposal or an incredibly romantic date. Trust me gents, If she says no to you after being here, then it’s not meant to be because this place is straight out of a movie. Firstly, we were poorly welcomed from the moment we arrived to restaurant but there were bigger issues.

Ignored my request even thought they promised:

I called restaurant weeks ago and made a reservation for a special occasion for two. The guy on phone said “Certainly we will arrange a very nice table with panoramic view” but when we arrived, the table was in the middle and very close to folded sliding windows that my wife couldn’t even sit comfortably. When I explained that the to staff, we didn’t get any support but the answer “But we are fully booked today”. Eventually, with my stubbornness we changed to another table which wasn’t good again. The lady at the entrance didn’t know about my reservation request. So no-one cared about it. Thank you for ruining an anniversary dinner :)

Mediocre food and slow service:

Prices are fine dining for the island but food was so mediocre. Service was slow waited a lot for our meals and for instance I needed to wait 10 mins to just get attention to pay.

In summary, restaurant nor the staff didn’t meet the expectation. When I have an experience like this, the view, sunset or atmosphere lost all its value. I don’t recommend it for special occasion or fine dining. Especially if you have a special occasion, go somewhere else that values...
