Herodotos Studios — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

We stayed at Herodotus Studios in early June. George and his family were always very helpful and flexible. Our room was clean and well fitted out and the view was great. There were two places with pools nearby that we could access for free so that was very useful.

George was helpful with lots of good advice. We hired a car through him (good deal) and he was flexible with checkout times on our occasion. He was not always around but responded promptly to emails and texts when requested.

Keri Lake is a nice area and is unspoiled compared to other resorts such as Laganas. If you like walking there is plenty to see going west but it is hilly.

Il prezzo eccezionale per qualsiasi sistemazione in Zante e nella piccola e tranquilla ma completa Keri. Le camere sono ampie e complete di tutto (dall'aria condizionata al phon, al catino per lavare, al sapone per piatti e mani - manca giusto la spugna ma basta chiedere), materiale per preparare colazione (frigo, bollitore, piatti, bicchieri, piastre, padelle ecc) e corredate da un piccolo ma grazioso balconcino con tavolino e sedie che dà sul giardino (finalmente sistemato e molto piacevole!). Pulizia ottima (tra l'altro eseguita nuovamente il terzo giorno con cambio asciugamani) Gentilezza e disponibilità del proprietario che parla molto bene l'italiano (che tra l'altro ci ha tenuto i bagagli fino alla partenza)

Contro

Le stanze non sono proprio come appaiono in foto: c'è tutto, ma tutto quello che c'è sembra un po' vecchio e trascurato (non ci sono "set", ci sono pezzi unici). Il bagno, proprio perché fortunatamente ha la tendina più lunga, che quindi non si appiccica, tende ad allargarsi ad ogni doccia (ogni camera ha secchio e mocio a disposizione). Letto e cuscini sono abbastanza scomodi: andrebbero aggiornati (almeno nella camera dove siamo stati) Keri è più umida di altre parti di Zante, quindi le cose tendono ad impiegare di più ad asciugare (ma ovviamente non è un contro della struttura che mette a disposizione un ampio spazio per stendere): sfruttate...

Lovely family run apartments, The rooms are Cleaned daily along with a fresh supply of clean towels.
