If heaven exists it’s called Lesente Blu

When I arrived, I could not believe my own eyes! Beautiful views, extraordinary design, extremely relaxing feel and customer service on top level!

Two days before my vacation I received very sad news, so when I arrived to the hotel I was still shaken. Only two days in this place were enough to get my energy back. I’m extremely grateful to the staff. I was there alone and couldn’t feel more welcome. I also arrived in the morning and as they promised they will do their best to make my room ready earlier they kept their promise. When I saw the room I didn’t even want to leave it – what a view!

• Stunning view in every spot of this resort • Beautiful rooms, balcony where you can relax and listen to birds singing • At the beach (small, but with one of the most beautiful sea colours on the island) • Clean • Quite • No crazy parties or noise • No children • Very good smell, smell of the rooms, bedsheets, towels etc. • Top customer service, super friendly and professional staff, manager of the hotel always present and making sure you have everything what you need.

• Food – I’m hungry every 3 hours and this hotel managed to make me feel full! :)

• There are several restaurants in this resort. Prices are of course higher than in the city nearby, but still I loved eating there/quality is top!

• Food – portions are big; plenty of choice: typical Greek, fish, sushi, salads, vegan etc. And what I love they try to not waste food. I hate about other hotels that you often not allowed to take food to your room. Here if you can’t finish and want to take it they will bring it to your room and you can eat it later.

• Breakfast is served to the table (due to Covid situation), it is everything what you need + you can order also from the menu. I didn’t manage to eat everything so they asked if I would like to get it to the room. I finished, went upstairs and food was already in my room with additional brownies which I didn’t even ask for. • I ordered some fruits to my room – it was so much I ate it for two days :)

• They ask you about your food allergies and they make sure you don’t get anything want makes you sick. They take it really seriously.

• Spa – I had a massage with candle. I was so relaxed afterwards that I fall asleep on my balcony; the smell of the oil they use is great. This massage was one of the best I had (other best massage I had was in Hawaii, so I think it says a lot about the skills of the masseur). I want to add I’m after very serious head and back injury and I felt completely safe, I felt the masseur was very knowledge.

• Tennis court, gym, manicure, pediure, hairdresser • Yoga mats on request delivered to your room (which was great option for me). • Everything what you need can be arranged by the hotel

Note: Bathroom is half open, the toilette and shower are behind glass door. Bathtub is behind half open wall.

Hotel location - very good, close to Zante city and good spot for discovering the island.

Conclusion: Everyone in this hotel is super friendly and natural in their empathic approach. They provide excellent customer service making sure you just don’t need to worry about anything! While I travel food is a huge problem for me (due to allergies), so knowing I can go to a hotel which takes care of this aspect for me is something that I hugely appreciate. I wish all the best to the staff of the hotel, you made my stay one of the best I ever had during vacation. I hope to see you...

Overall, a wonderful stay!|We stayed in the honeymoon suite with a private pool, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt first-class. The room was absolutely spotless and the views were genuinely breathtaking—one of those places where the photos just don’t do it justice.||The food was delicious! There was so much variety, and what really stood out was how inclusive and accommodating they were with dietary needs. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-intolerant, the chefs were more than happy to cater to you without compromising on flavour or quality.||The beach was pristine—honestly, we’ve been to Mauritius before and both agreed the beach here was even cleaner. There’s also no shortage of things to do: jet skis, day trips, paddleboarding, kayaking—and the paddleboards and kayaks were free to use, which was such a great touch.||Now, the service… wow. Absolutely top tier. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. A special shout-out to the incredible team at Gaia Restaurant. I wish we caught all of their names, because they truly went above and beyond. Magna, Paul, Olga, and Peggy were especially kind and made us feel so welcomed. The guys running Gaia worked so seamlessly together— They absolutely deserve recognition. The beach bar staff, champagne bar team, spa staff—everyone was just fantastic. You could tell they cared about their guests and took real pride in their work. It made such a difference to our stay.||We were also celebrating a birthday during our visit, and the staff helped organise a beautiful surprise: a decorated room and a cake waiting for us. It was thoughtful, personal, and really memorable.||That said, there are a few things to watch out for:||Although we visited in early June (a quieter, non-peak time), we were really surprised by how cold the pools were—even our private one. The indoor spa pool, labeled as heated, was still on the chilly side, and the hot tub in the main pool area wasn’t hot at all—it felt more like a cold tub with jets. Once we realised this, it made sense why most guests weren’t using the pools. We ended up spending more time at the beach, since the sea was warmer. For a five-star hotel, we would have expected the pools—especially private ones—to be usable year-round.||Drinks were also quite pricey. Even the lower-tier wines were more expensive than expected. We don’t drink much, but it would’ve been nice to see a few more affordable options on the menu.||We also felt there was a bit of a gap when it came to snack options. Everything was gourmet and beautifully presented, but sometimes in the middle of the day or late at night, you just want something simple and easy—crisps, popcorn, ice cream, yoghurt, that kind of thing. A small tuck shop or snack stall would’ve made a big difference for those lighter hunger moments when a full meal isn’t needed.||On a more positive note, it was really easy to get hold of room service, book taxis, or speak to reception. Anytime we had a question or needed help organising activities outside of the hotel, the staff were helpful and responsive.||Overall, we had a truly relaxing, luxurious stay that left us with wonderful memories. A few tweaks—particularly around pool temperatures and snack access—would make it absolutely perfect. We’d still highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with top-class service and stunning...

We had a great room (double suite sea view), good size with a fabulous sea view. The balcony was spacious with a couch as well. We weren't too keen on how they had designed the bathroom area. The toilet and shower were basically adjoining cubicles at the entrance of the room, which meant limited privacy if you were in the toilet (if you know what I mean!). The shower wasn't as bad - although did on occasion leak under the glass partition. There was an awesome view of the sea when you stepped out of the shower as they designed the wall separating the sleeping area with a cut out part so you could see straight out. That was a nice touch. The tap on our sink would spray water everywhere so the counter was always wet - we went through a lot of towels mopping this up. Instead of the hanging 'do not disturb' and 'please clean my room' signs, they have red and green buttons to press from the inside. Much better than the door hangers which always fall off the handle! The hotel isn't really walkable to places, so you do need to get a taxi. (Don't use Zante taxis where you can order online - they don't turn up, and the bookings are constantly showing as pending). The hotel uses a good taxi company and they're more reliable. Breakfast was a good buffet selection (although not as good as other hotels we've stayed), and there was a made to order egg menu as well. Lovely fresh juice served to your table, tea or coffee, and stunning views while you eat. Staff in all the restaurants were fabulous, friendly and courteous. You can get towels for the pool and beach from the pool or beach bars. Our housekeeping lady was lovely. So friendly and smiley and truly wanted to make you feel like a special guest. There is a fair amount of seating around the pool area. Even though it is a luxury hotel people still come down early to claim their beds and then not actually use them for hours. There is a notice saying they will remove items on beds if the beds aren't used for an hour but I don't think it's actually enforced. There are also plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas along the beach front. Our favourite place was the decking above the beach - you can enjoy the sound of the waves, and the stunning view, without getting sand everywhere! It's quieter than by the pool where there is constant hotel music, and it is more shaded, (which I prefer) but not so good if you want full sun. You can still get drink and meal service from the waiters at the beach and deck areas. Our biggest complaint was regarding their communication and lack of apology for their mistake. Long story short, we arranged a boat hire with reception. It was cancelled the night before, but we never received the message (no email or phone call), but they said they left a note. We had left the do not disturb light on but later find a note in our room hidden amongst our clutter, only because we were looking for it. Housekeeping had left a previous note tucked in the front of our door when we had the do not disturb light on, which was much more obvious. No apology from the hotel for entering our room without our permission, even though we raised this with them. We were very surprised that a hotel of this calibre had no regard for the privacy of their guests, and this event put a dampener on the...

Overall Impression While the property is positioned and priced as a luxury hotel, my experience unfortunately did not live up to the standards expected of a five-star establishment. The stay felt significantly overpriced in comparison to the quality of the facilities and service provided. Rooms & Facilities • The design of the room (honeymoon suite) was disappointing - narrow like a tube, with very thin walls where noise from neighbors could easily be heard. • Practical issues included water running from the shower into the toilet area, a hot tub in the middle of the room that did not actually provide hot water, and limited storage space for clothes. • Furnishings felt generic, closer to budget furniture than luxury. • Lighting controls were impractical. • Bathroom amenities and even basics like toilet paper were of low quality and did not match luxury standards. Noise & Environment • The location is heavily impacted by constant airplane noise from early in the morning, which made it difficult to relax. Pool & Outdoor Spaces • The pool was not heated, and there was no staff ensuring it remained clean - surprising for a hotel of this category. Service & Staff • While the staff were generally kind, the service was average. There was little attentiveness, no sense of going the extra mile, and overall it did not feel like a true five-star hospitality experience. • The General Manager was never present or visible, which felt unusual compared to other luxury hotels where management engages with guests. Activities & App • The hotel app added no value - it lacked useful information and felt unnecessary. • “Daily yoga sessions” advertised by the hotel turned out to be misleading. Sessions were held at the sister property every 3 days, and when I asked for the schedule, I was told they no longer existed at all. Food & Beverage • While food and beverage quality was good, prices were very high and the cuisine lacked authenticity. The menu was limited to the point that we often chose to dine outside the hotel. Yacht Experience • The yacht tour itself was excellent, but for €2,500 for six hours, one would expect at least a complimentary bottle of champagne as a gesture. Conclusion Overall, Lesante Blu did not deliver the experience promised as part of “The Leading Hotels of the World.” I genuinely question whether the property currently meets the criteria for such recognition. A re-inspection would be highly advisable to ensure consistency with the standards the brand represents.

We booked the standard double suite and the full romantic package, which included luxury and comfortable airport pickup, 40 min couples massage, a boat trip around the island and a romantic dinner. When Jannis picked us up from the airport he has introduced us to the wonderful hospitality of Zakynthos and Lesante Blu, he was very polite and accomodating giving us an perfect first impression of their hospitality. He even stopped on the way for us to buy something we forgot to bring with us for the trip despite his busy schedule! When we arrived to the hotel the concierge Claire surprised us with an upgrade to the Honeymoon suite which was more spacious and had its own plunge pool and jacuzzi tub inside the room. As a nice welcoming gift we also received a bottle of sparkling wine, fruit platter and traditional greek delights. We have really enjoyed the hospitality of this hotel and all of their employees, they were always very kind and tried to accomodate us to our satisfaction, calling it perfect would not be an understatement. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the blond lady in the purple dress but she would make us amazing cocktails with a very friendly and welcoming attitude. The breakfast in the hotel was sadly not a buffet due to COVID restrictions but the hotel compenasted it by bringing the buffet to our table. We have tried all of the restaurants in the hotel and we were never disappointed, the portions were also very generous. On our last night for dinner we had the degustation menu in the fine dining restaurant which was delicous and the views of the sea were beautiful and very romantic which only enhanced our positive experience. I would deffinitely recommend everyone to experience the boat trip wich was included in our romantic package, Manuel (the captain) has shown us the most beautiful places on the island, we went to the Mizithres beach, the caves near by, turtle bay and a secret spot wih ruins of a castle. We told Manuel that we wanted to avoid the busy/overcrowded places like the shipwerck beach and he exceeded our already high expectations. Lastly, I would recommend to rent a quad bike, which Claire was very helpful to arrange for us last minute to explore the island! We found many beautiful places on our trip :). Overall, our experience in Lesante Blu and Zakynthos was perfect and this is also largely due to the friendly and comforting service which clearly aimed to exceed our expectations; which it did.

Elegance and stunning vistas are just some of the things you'll find at the Lesanteblu hotel. 5 nights in this place hasn't worn off my love for it. With your own private yacht, you may have one of the most memorable seaside experiences on Zakynthos Island. The river, the countryside, and the captain were all great, and he went out of his way to ensure that everyone had a wonderful time. The hotel's infinity pool has been meticulously constructed to ensure that you enjoy the time of your life, with daybeds and couches that are both comfy and luxurious. The service at the pool is exceptional. Every member of the crew is dedicated to making sure you don't miss a thing. Thanks to (Capitan) at the pool and Ostria restaurant, who was always there to serve us with a smile, as well as to Kristos and Kristyna, who have looked after us with great care and attention since the first day we arrived. The entire pool staff is equally professional and welcoming. I wish I could remember everyone's name so that I could express my gratitude. Everything was immaculate from breakfast to dinner. The hotel has four restaurants for you to choose from while you're there, so you'll never go unsatisfied. However, the fine dining by the pool was outstanding, and I had the opportunity to express my gratitude to the chef for his efforts. Congratulations again, it was an amazing experience. And once more, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our wedding anniversary one to remember. F&B manager Aristotles is a wonderful individual who knows exactly how to handle a customer in the best possible way. A 5-star service is guaranteed. He also has a great sense of style when it comes to his appearance. My husband and I had an amazing time at this hotel. I couldn't begin to describe how breathtaking it was. With a private beach, exceptional service, and a restaurant overlooking the sea, the hotel is perfect. Due to the nature of this resort, the gym might be expanded to include a view of the outside, making it more appealing to those interested in aesthetics and holistic health. No place on earth is perfect for everyone; everything requires some degree of adjustment and maintenance. And I'll let the hotel know about it via email because I feel that favourable reviews should be communicated to the property directly.
