We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Melia Fine Dining. First and foremost, the atmosphere is truly extraordinary. We had a table right by the poolfront, which gave us the perfect view of the stunning sunset – it really created a magical setting. Gentle background music added to the overall charm.
The staff deserve special mention. They were genuinely warm and welcoming – not in the distant, overly formal “fine dining” way, but in a heartfelt and attentive manner. It was our anniversary, and the team went above and beyond to make the evening special. My husband had ordered flowers for me, and they presented them beautifully, even setting up a separate side table just for them. They also surprised us with a complimentary little cake to celebrate the occasion. Each course was carefully explained, and when they asked for our feedback, it truly felt like they were interested in our thoughts.
As for the food – it was an 11-course tasting menu, which I thought was fantastic. Usually, you might get 4 courses with a larger main dish, or sometimes 6 at most, but here you get to try so many different flavors and textures. My personal highlight was the course with the Ionian red mullet and raisin cream – the sweet and savory combination was just perfect. I also loved the two dessert courses (I have a sweet tooth, so more than one dessert is always a win for me!).
A little note for future guests: the menu features quite a bit of fish and also some more “unusual“ meats like rabbit – so it’s best if you enjoy seafood and are open to trying something different.
Overall, this is a perfect spot for a special evening. We had a truly memorable experience and would absolutely...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Melia Fine Dining, located within the resort Lesante Blu on the north-eastern coast of Zakynthos, to celebrate my fifth anniversary with my girlfriend. It was simply an unforgettable experience.
The restaurant offers a fixed tasting menu which turned out to be truly excellent: each dish was beautifully presented, well-balanced, and full of refined Mediterranean flavors. The service was impeccable – attentive, professional, and warm – which made the evening even more special. A special mention goes to the sommelier, who was extremely kind and guided us through a wonderful wine selection that perfectly matched our preferences.
Since we booked well in advance, we were given a table right by the pool’s edge with a stunning view of the sea. From there, we were able to watch a breathtaking sunset that created a truly romantic and magical atmosphere.
In conclusion, Melia Fine Dining is a restaurant I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a high-level culinary experience in a dreamlike setting. A fabulous evening we will remember for...
Read moreZero stars! This restaurant pass off poor quality food as gourmet cousine. At first they propose a 125 euros menù without giving the possibility to order à la carte. After insistently asking for the menù, we cannot easily understand the dishes. To start they served us a bad quality prosecco - Riondò, normally sold 6,20€ per bottle - pricing it 15€ per glass. Then we ordered one starter and two main courses. The quality of the food was very low, one-week-old bread and fish tasted like precooked, 30 grams per portion. The bill was 190 euros for the worst dinner of our life. We have chosen this place because of the good reviews (clearly false), only the location can be saved, because is truly beautiful. Waitresses are dressed like nurses and really pushy, good manners have never been learned here. Do yourself a favor,...
