Prokopis Studios — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

We arrived and the only welcome we got was the owner of the hotel being surprised at our arrival (it seems she didn't know we were coming even if we booked 3 months earlier). Don't expect anyone to be able to communicate in English, only the son knows a 'few' words. The rooms are very bare and not very clean upon arrival (the bed was full of sand and what not). The toilet broke constantly (never was able to flush, very unpleasant) and when we asked them to fix it it took them 2 days. The shower curtain broke just by looking at it, not to mention that if you shower after 9pm there's no more hot water. In addition, the shower and sink water was dirty. If you want to use the AC it's 5€ per day which is ridiculous. THERE ARE NO FIRE ALARMS IN THIS 'hotel' which is very worrying. They only 'cleaned' our room once in the whole week we were there and when they did, the cleaning lady left our room unlocked so anyone could have been in there.

Don't expect a towel change unless you really really hassle them and they even roll their eyes.

The wifi is only in the bar area.

The beds.....sleeping on a slab of marble would have been softer, I could literally feel every individual spring against my back. We never got a change of sheets in the whole week.

I guess the only plus is that the pool is always free but it's because no one wants to stay...

I’m against all this recommendations I’m coming to this place for 5 years because I love this place ! I’m not speaking Greek but they always helped me when I showed them the problem . they worried like a family when I got to the hospital on the second year I came it’s much more than a hotel service ! The owners not speak English as many other people in the world that living in villages and small places but they will be always ready to help if u show them the problem . The air conditioner is good if there is any problem u can show them and they will solve it . The place is not a hotel it’s a studio apartments like rbnb if u looking for room service , room cleaners ,and meals u should take a hotel ,in most of the studios there in this prices you taking the key and they coming to take the key back when u are living . About the rooms I saw the owner of the place cleaning the room every day before someone coming inside and to say the rooms are not clean I never saw this kind of thing in my five years there as a client .

The place fitting for young travelers that looking for a place to stay and not spend all their money on hotels :)

NON VENITE IN QUESTO“”POSTO””(soprattutto se siete ragazzi). Le camere sono letteralmente un buco dove non ci si entra nemmeno, formìche zanzare e insetti dappertutto, il materasso una pietra e i bagni facevamo ribrezzo si allagano tutti e non scaricavano nemmeno. Mettono a disposizione il servizio cucina ma arrivi lì con un fornelletto mezzo rotto che appena lo attacchi fa saltare la corrente. Abbiamo riscontrato gli stessi identici problemi su 4 stanze non solo su 1. Anche se dovrebbero essere inclusi i servizi di pulizia sono venuti 1 volta su 10 giorni, ci hanno preso gli asciugamani e ci hanno detto “se li rivolete dovete darci 20€”. Dovrebbero essere inclusi scopa, e straccio per pulire per terra ma nemmeno l’ombra di tutto questo. Per concludere sono venuti a svegliarci alle 9 di mattino 5 giorni prima del check out convinti che fosse quello il giorno della nostra partenza. Disastroso, da chiudere questo. NON CI VENITE. P.s.
