Lovely setting and accommodating staff -- but there was no restaurant or food offered. The rooms I occupied (I was there on two different occasions within a few weeks) both had stoves and fridges so I could make my own food. One room had some plates, bowls, and cups but no utensils; the other had nothing (cookware, flatware and plates were available in the small common dining room). The rooms were both spacious, the linens spotless, and the beds comfortable. Nice colonial house with internal patio. You will be warmly received by the owners. They have a nice dog, Peca, but keep her separate from guests. Room on ground or first floor. Terrace on roof with good with onto neighboring volcanoes. Most room do not have a window giving to the outside but only onto the patio. They are therefore quite and musty. En-suite small bathrooms have no window. Bed linen old but clean. Floor not very clean (dust, dead insects, very alive spider...). Bathroom rather dirty. Lamentablemente NO los recomiendo. He estado en Guatemala en 18 ocasiones, sea por trabajo, estudios o turismo.||Me hospedé en Casa de los Nazarenos minimo 8 veces en 10 o mas años.||Anterior a la pandemia, Doña Silvia siempre me atendió con excelencia. ||Lamentablemente, al parecer cambiaron de administración.||A inicios de este mes de diciembre, 2024, los contacté para reservar una habitación para Semana Santa 2025. Me indicaron que por demanda de hospedaje, hiciera la reservación esta misma semana.||Como no tienen método de reserva, se debe hacer un depósito en el Banco Industrial de Guatemala, por lo que envíe el 50% de la reservación a un amigo en Guatemala que iba a pasar esta mañana de 7 de diciembre a hacer la reservacion; incluso les envié el comprobante del envío del dinero de Costa Rica a Guatemala, y esta mañana me sorprenden diciendo que ya no tenian la habitación, luego de que me presionaron toda esta semana para que hiciera la reservación. ||Les aleeto, pues considero es una falta de respeto enorme para el huesped de fuera de Guatemala. ||Mag.
