Lakeview Lodge — Hotel in Sololá

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lakeview Lodge! The house was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and we loved waking up every morning to the breathtaking view of the lake. The kitchen had all the amenities that you could need and was stocked with delicious avocados, local coffee and other pantry items. Each morning we cooked our breakfast, brewed some coffee and relaxed on the patio, enjoying the view. We made several dinners at home, but it was also a quick walk to San Marcos where there were lots of restaurant options and places to buy fruit and veggies. BEST VIEW IN ALL OF LAKE ATITLAN!!

Worth every cent. I underestimated the amount of walking it takes to get to the top but the view is impeccable. It’s a short walk to San Marcos La Laguna(about 15-20minutes to the right, 5-8minutes via Tuktuk) or Tzununa (to the left about 10 minute walk or 4-5minute tuktuk). Awesome place. The whole house (facing the lake) is glass, so the views couldn't be better. You're up above it all. Feels like you're flying in bed. Rain, shine, dawn, dusk, midnight ... doesn't matter. Always something lovely going on out there. Really nice place, comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, lovely grounds.
