Behold, the Solani Hotel, where the tapestry of life and death is woven with the threads of the surreal. You walk in, expecting perhaps the usual humdrum of hotel experiences - a noisy ice machine, perhaps, or the mysterious stain on the carpet that you hope is just coffee. But no, here at Solani, the adventure takes a turn towards the philosophical, the existential, or let's be honest, the downright ballistic.
Imagine this: you're engaging in what you believe to be a harmless banter, a mere exchange of ideas with one of the locals, whose appearance might remind you of a character from a David Lynch film. You debate, perhaps about the nature of reality, or whether pineapple truly belongs on pizza - a topic, mind you, that has ended more friendships than one.
But here, at this peculiar junction of hospitality and hazard, your disagreement doesn't end with a huff and a puff or a passive-aggressive comment about agreeing to disagree. No, my friend, here it might just conclude with you staring down the barrel of existential finality - yes, you might just get shot in the face.
The Solani Hotel - where the check-out time might be more permanent than you anticipated. The staff, ever so polite, might offer you tea with one hand while dialing emergency services with the other, because, well, hospitality here has taken on a new meaning.
The rooms? Comfortable, with a view that might just be your last if your philosophical musings tread on the wrong toes. The decor? Let's call it ' terminal chic'.
So, if you're looking for a place where your third eye might be forcibly opened, or closed, depending on how you look at it, the Solani Hotel is your destination. A place where every checkout could be your last, and every conversation might just be the one that transcends you to another plane - not through enlightenment, but through a somewhat more... abrupt transition.
Remember, at Solani, it's not about the journey or the destination; it's about whether you'll survive the debate. Check in at your own risk, and maybe, just maybe, keep your more controversial opinions about pizza toppings...

The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The owner is a great guide to the area. This is a very small place, with a small staff. My wife noticed some spiders and cob webs. A bit cleaner from bugs in rooms may be nice. If you want to relax in a quiet place with an amazing view of nature, this is the place to go. It is not the place to go if you...
Read moreThis place is quite interesting. It's a series of small cottages built on a hill, next to the lake.
The layout of the land is a bit impractical, in that it's a steep climb to some cottages, and the toilets are separate.
But it's calm and peaceful, mellow sound of waves caressing the eardrums at night. There's healthy grass to sit and chill on. It's away from the city center.
It's really a lovely place overall.
Internet: works ok, though from my room the signal is...
