This hotel is not bad for it’s age! It’s decently maintained, rooms are well kept with a few drawbacks. Noise between rooms is low due to it being real walls and not the usual drywall we get in most modern hotels. Reception is a bit old fashioned, didn’t seem to have uniforms, girls were nice though. Parking is sufficient for the amount of guest rooms available. Overall the place is clean, not perfect but decent. If you want peace and quiet avoid the pool area on sundays. Pools and water quality are well kept until certain hour, especially on weekends, in the afternoon you can see trash in the water, napkins, cardboard cups, etc. Service is extremely lacking at pool area, I ordered a bunch of stuff and since the waiter didn’t write it down he was short a hamburger and a lemonade, I asked him and he said I didn’t order it, aside from that he didn’t approach the table unless I went looking for him, usually came close enough to call every 20 minutes or so which...
Read moreLast weekend I visited my family in tegucigalpa and stayed at this hotel. Eventhough it has been in Tegucigalpa for many years, it is not that bad. ||||I detected a few problems. To get Hot water you have to open the faucet in the sink to get the water flowing and then open the faucet in the shower, after that you got to wait five minutes for the water to heat up. While you are showering it will turn cold and hot a few times. ||||Wifi internet in my room was awfull. I had the Access point right outside my door and still did not get a good connection cause most of the time the AP was off.||||Complementary breakfast was the same everyday and not much to choose from.||||The rooms are OK, with a view of a dirty patio with junk and trash.||||The rooms are clean, but old fashioned. It does have a nice 40" TV set on the wall.||||Overall I think it is ok for a day stay, just to sleep and leave. Not great for family trips. Prices...
Read moreI went there because this hotel was good a few years ago that I visited Tegucigalpa. This time it was F I L T H Y, absolutely dirty all over, to the point that I asked a supervisor to come to the room and he sent a maid who did some cleaning in my presence but still the room was not acceptable. One comforter had a huge hole in it. We found some hairs on the sheets meaning probably they were not changed. I touched on top of the tv and so did the supervisor and we had to wash our hands. Breakfast was ok but they served "a tablespoon" of "fried liquid beans" that cover the whole plate. To top it off they played karaoke until 3 am in the morning and the music sounded like noise in our room so we couldn't sleep well. The only reason we did not leave the premises was because it was raining cats and dogs and it was not safe to drive around looking for...
