Hotel Suites La Aurora — Hotel in Tegucigalpa

I have never had to write a review this bad about a hotel. We used to stay here years ago but it has really gone downhill. The rooms are dark, with paint peeling, fixtures hung up lopsided, absolutely no TLC. The mattress feels very old. The bathroom is so small that you have to squeeze in sideways to close the door. We feel like fools for paying $80 a night when there are others much nicer hotels in Tegucigalpa for that price. Although it was tasty, the breakfast was small and left us hungry. Then we asked them to wash some clothes and we came back at the end of the day to find that the one person who washes clothes had her day off that day so we had to start our road trip with dirty clothes. If they had just told us it was her day off, we would have taken the clothes elsewhere. On the second night, I found that the key didn't work because the receptionist had only configured it for one night (even though we paid in full for two nights). I went back downstairs and this receptionist didn't know how to configure it so she could only come upstairs and open the door for us and leave us without a key. To top it off, our next door neighbors were doing what lovers do very...

This hotel or Suits. Is terrible. I do not recommend to anyone.||||What happen to us in a week.||||They expend two day to provide a Key. Every day they need to go the room to open.||When I was taking a shower the water when off. No water at all. I leave this day with soap in by body. The water was delivered the next in truck tank.||||We need to move to three different rooms in six day. Without of help.||||I can sleep because the light in the hall was like the sun at boom.||||And much more.||||It is my only and last time...

COVID ERA: This place is CLOSED PERMENANTLY! Dont do like me and believe Hotels.com or Expedia... this hotel is not open yet will take your reservation and your money. They tried to keep more than half of my paid reservation and THIS PLACE IS CLOSED! Im adding a picture of me with this hotel behind me WITH ALL ROOM LIGHTS...
