Minister Suites — Hotel in Tegucigalpa

I recently had an extended stay at Minister Suites- it is a great value. In addition to having nice rooms, well-equiped rooms the have a great staff. Everyone from the management to the individuals who clean the rooms (Marley and Veronica are great!) is very nice. Even the security guards are customer service minded and are exceptionally personable. ||||One of the great things, in addition to having a kitchenette and living room, was that my room had a GREAT terraza. That was in addition to the large community terraza that they have.||||The other nice thing about Minister suites is that they occasionally will have events to which they invite guests. overall the 'hotel' experience was great. very friendly front desk, the reception area was clean with a contemporary modern feel. The hotel has on and off road parking and offer safe private taxi service to the mall, or wherever you need to go. ||||the rooms unfortunately were the let down in comparison to the price paid., slightly dirty and aged, the shower door was awkward to open, get in and out of. as was the main bathroom door. We were in town for a mission trip and our group has been using this hotel for almost 10 years. The place was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The owners of the hotel were willing to bring in food for us each morning and evening and it was top notch.
