Apartahotel Las Hortensias — Hotel in Tegucigalpa

This aparthotel is a totally unmarked building, but still easy enough to find. When my taxi driver rang the bell, there was no answer. I repeatedly rang the bell – still no answer. I asked my driver to ring the hotel phone number. We could hear the landline ringing inside. Obviously, nobody answered the phone.||||Leaving a guest stranded in the street, with his luggage, in a city as dangerous as Tegucigalpa, was totally unprofessional. I was livid! I relentlessly banged on the steel door, desperately hoping someone would hear me. The racket caused the neighbors to come onto the street. Luckily, one of the neighbors had the owner's private phone number. When the owner finally showed up, I was hugely relieved to get my luggage safely inside.||||After that ordeal, they still expected me to fill in a form. I soon told them where to stick their bloody form! My priority was to get something to eat before it got dark. And, of course, there was nobody available to help carry my heavy luggage up the stairs.||||Check-in was a total & utter disaster, but the apartment was splendid. My pleasant visit to this cute ,small but extra-friendly place ,recommended by a close friend of mine who stays here every time he comes to Tegucigalpa ,this place it is located in the busy heart of blvd Morazan ,Ismaél and Cesar the owners are just amazing friendly yet very helpful ,i am already booking for a near future visit.
