Sunshine Hotel — Hotel in Budapest

This is a perfect little hotel if you have a late evening arrival or early morning flight, Around 20min from the airport at most. Small hotel well run, clean, comfortable, good size room with fridge and coffee maker, some rooms have balconies. We were given a complementary beer on arrival. The hotel does not serve dinner there is not much close by but we understood we could order pizza takeaway. As we were driving we took a short drive to a shopping centre. Bear in mind on Sundays most restaurants are closed in Hungary, it is really difficult on Sundays to find somewhere to eat. We left early the next morning for us it was just a convenient place...

I have just returned here after some longer break and I got quite disappointed. Perhaps I had just a bad luck getting the inappropriate room but bathroom there was in a quite poor shape, some motorbike was driving in and out the hotel mini-parking the whole night through making a tremendous noise, waking people up (hotel staff should really take care of it's guests comfort here) and the room was quite humid and hot while there was no big heat outside. If you're not looking for a fancy hotel with a central location, for a low budget, it might be your choice. The hotel rooms are simple but very clean. It has the basic things to pass the night at. The breakfast is totally adequate with enough variety of food. The hotel location might be it's advantage and disadvantage: on the one hand it's very close to the airport and to the kobayana-kipest (metro station), on the other hand, it's alittle bit distant from the center of Budapest.
