Hotel Pannonia — Hotel in Miskolci járás

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. This definitely wasn't a place for business travelers to stay. The Parking is a block away from the hotel. This wouldn't be bad except that the location of the pillars in the garage made it near impossible for us to park in a very full parking garage. ||||Our room had a very old double bed, air conditioning worked well, big jacuzzi tub (the jacuzzi part didn't work). Unfortunately we weren't able to get the shower to work and ended up having to try and wash our hair under the tub, something we aren't used to. Wifi wouldn't work in our room. I believe it was because of the location. We could pick up a signal if we were out in the hallway, so we would go out in the hallway long enough to connect and then return to our room. Breakfast was the same each day, scrambled eggs with hot dogs (or sausage mixed in) and bread. The breakfast area was styled very creatively, it is a shame they didn't use more of that creativity for their breakfast.||||Location is great, very close to the pedestrian...

The only positive feature in this hotel is the location, nothing else. I arrived the day before my meetings which took place in walking distance and could leave the car in the garage.||The rooms are very outdated. The furnitures and the design are old, when I sat on the bedside it almost broke below my 73 kgs.||The floor in my room was broken and the wifi in my room didn't work.||The garage is safe but the place is tight and it's very challenging to drive out.||The breakfast and the coffee itself was awful. I couldn't order a better coffee at the bar as there is no bar! And it's not very easy to find a coffee place in spite of the central location.||For the room they charged 5 EUR more compared to the rate advised in the confirmation. I stayed here as part of organized group so we made reservation in advance. Check in was quick and without problems. The first feeling I got here everything was "tight and old". ||Room had enough space but I didn't liked the old furniture. It looked really outdated and it doesn't go well with modern bathroom. Place itself was clean but if you looked carefully you could see signs of lack of maintenance: window closed with great difficulty for example. ||Breakfast was OK. Nothing special but met the basic needs. I only missed tea. ||To sum up. If you need space to sleep in Miskolc and you are not demanding tourist it is OK.
